And you took us and the Lord as your example, after the word had come to you in much trouble, with joy in the Holy Spirit; So that you became an example to all those who have faith in Christ in Macedonia and Achaia. We say that those men who have gone through pain are happy: you have the story of Job and the troubles through which he went and have seen that the Lord was full of pity and mercy in the end.
