But he answered them, "Why do you also disregard the commandment of God because of your tradition?
Then he told them, "You have such a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to keep your own tradition!
Then Paul and Barnabas boldly declared, "We had to speak God's word to you first, but since you reject it and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we are now going to turn to the gentiles. For that is what the Lord ordered us to do: "I have made you a light to the gentiles to be the means of salvation to the very ends of the earth.'"
Though God has overlooked those times of ignorance, he now commands everyone everywhere to repent,
Although they know God's just requirement that those who practice such things deserve to die they not only do these things but even applaud others who practice them.

Then he asked the disciples, "Where's your faith?" Frightened and amazed, they asked one another, "Who is this man? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him!"
Therefore, as you go, disciple people in all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything that I've commanded you. And remember, I am with you each and every day until the end of the age."
But Jesus rebuked him. "Be quiet," he ordered, "and come out of him!" At this, the unclean spirit shook the man, cried out with a loud voice, and came out of him. All the people were so stunned that they kept saying to each other, "What is this? A new teaching with authority! He tells even the unclean spirits what to do, and they obey him!"
But Jesus rebuked him. "Be quiet," he said, "and come out of him!" At this, the demon threw the man down in the middle of the synagogue and came out of him without hurting him. Overwhelmed with amazement, they all kept saying to one another, "What kind of statement is this? because with authority and power he gives orders to unclean spirits, and they come out!"
But Jesus strictly ordered them not to let anyone know about this. He also told them to give her something to eat.
Her parents were amazed, but he ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened.
When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "You spirit that won't let him talk or hear I command you to come out of him and never enter him again!"
In the same way, the Lord has ordered that those who proclaim the gospel should make their living from the gospel.

Some of the crowd shouted this and some that. Since the tribune couldn't learn the facts due to the confusion, he ordered Paul to be taken into the barracks.

Then Jesus told him, "See to it that you don't speak to anyone. Instead, go and show yourself to the priest, and then offer the sacrifice that Moses commanded as proof to the authorities."
He told the man, "Be sure that you don't tell anyone. Instead, go and show yourself to the priest, and then offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded as proof to the authorities."
They asked him, "Why, then, did Moses order us "to give a certificate of divorce and divorce her'?" He told them, "It was because of your hardness of heart that Moses allowed you to divorce your wives. But from the beginning it was not this way.
"What did Moses command you?" he responded. They said, "Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of divorce and to divorce her."
But sin seized the opportunity provided by this commandment and produced in me all kinds of sinful desires, since apart from the Law, sin is dead. At one time I was alive without any connection to the Law. But when the rule was revealed, sin sprang to life, and I died. I found that the very rule that was intended to bring life actually brought death. read more.
For sin, seizing the opportunity provided by the rule, deceived me and used it to kill me. So then, the Law itself is holy, and the rule is holy, just, and good. Now, did something good bring me death? Of course not! But in order that sin might be recognized as being sin, it used something good to cause my death, so that through the rule, sin might become more exposed as being sinful than ever before.
You have not come to something that can be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, to gloom, to a trumpet's blast, or to a voice that made the hearers beg that not another word be spoken to them. For they could not endure the command that was given: "If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death." read more.
