And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment,
Why do you judge your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God. For it is written: "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God." So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy lives and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by fire, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to his promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
