Remember the days that are past: consider the years from time to time. Ask thy father and he will show thee; thine elders, and they will tell thee.

Therefore will I remember the works of the LORD, and call to mind thy wonders of old time.

Say not thou, "What is the cause that the days of the old time were better than they that be now?" For that were no wise question.

But he that lacketh these things is blind and gropeth for the way with his hand, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
