They answered him, We are Abrahams offspring, and have never been in bondage to any one; how sayest, thou, Ye will be made free?

I know that ye are Abrahams offspring; but ye seek to kill me, because my word is not received within you.

They answered and said to him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith to them, If ye were Abrahams children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

Doth this blessedness belong to the circumcised alone, or to the uncircumcised also? For we are saying that Abrahams faith was accounted as righteousness.

and if ye belong to Christ, then are ye Abrahams offspring, heirs according to the promise.
