'Extended' in the Bible

Later, the Canaanite families were widely scattered. The Canaanite border extended south from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and east toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

Their settlements extended from Mesha to Sephar, the eastern hill country.

But the Lord was with Joseph and extended kindness to him. He granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.

So Aaron extended his hand over the waters of Egypt, and frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.

Then they struck it with the edge of the sword and took possession of it and settled there [between the tribes of Naphtali and Manasseh]; they renamed Leshem, Dan, after the name of their father (ancestor) Dan.

He showed them a secret entrance into the city, and they put the city to the sword. But they let the man and his extended family leave safely.

The territory of the Amorites extended from the Ascent of Akrabbim, that is from Sela upward.
