'Judgment' in the Bible
“You have heard that it was said to our ancestors, Do not murder, and whoever murders will be subject to judgment.
But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Fool!’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You moron!’ will be subject to hellfire.
For with the judgment you use, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
I assure you: It will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town.
But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.
But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”
I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to account for every careless word they speak.
The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at Jonah’s proclamation; and look—something greater than Jonah is here!
The queen of the south will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and look—something greater than Solomon is here!

“This, then, is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.
The Father, in fact, judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son,
“I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.
And He has granted Him the right to pass judgment, because He is the Son of Man.
and come out—those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment.
“I can do nothing on My own. I judge only as I hear, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
Stop judging according to outward appearances; rather judge according to righteous judgment.”
And if I do judge, My judgment is true, because I am not alone, but I and the Father who sent Me judge together.
Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”
Now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast out.
When He comes, He will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment:
and about judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
Therefore, in my judgment, we should not cause difficulties for those among the Gentiles who turn to God,
Now as he spoke about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix became afraid and replied, “Leave for now, but when I find time I’ll call for you.”
When I was in Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews presented their case and asked for a judgment against him.
But Paul replied, “I’m not out of my mind, most excellent Festus. On the contrary, I’m speaking words of truth and good judgment.
We know that God’s judgment on those who do such things is based on the truth.

And the gift is not like the one man’s sin, because from one sin came the judgment, resulting in condemnation, but from many trespasses came the gift, resulting in justification.
So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.
But you, why do you criticize your brother? Or you, why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before the tribunal of God.
For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.
If anyone is hungry, he should eat at home, so that when you gather together you will not come under judgment. And I will give instructions about the other matters whenever I come.
For we must all appear before the tribunal of Christ, so that each may be repaid for what he has done in the body, whether good or worthless.
It is a clear evidence of God’s righteous judgment that you will be counted worthy of God’s kingdom, for which you also are suffering,
Some people’s sins are obvious, going before them to judgment, but the sins of others surface later.
For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.
teaching about ritual washings, laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
And just as it is appointed for people to die once—and after this, judgment—
but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire about to consume the adversaries.
For judgment is without mercy to the one who hasn’t shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
Not many should become teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive a stricter judgment,
Now above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. Your “yes” must be “yes,” and your “no” must be “no,” so that you won’t fall under judgment.
For the time has come for judgment to begin with God’s household, and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God?
For if God didn’t spare the angels who sinned but threw them down into Tartarus and delivered them to be kept in chains of darkness until judgment;

But by the same word, the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
In this, love is perfected with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, for we are as He is in this world.
For some men, who were designated for this judgment long ago, have come in by stealth; they are ungodly, turning the grace of our God into promiscuity and denying Jesus Christ, our only Master and Lord.

They will stand far off in fear of her torment, saying:Woe, woe, the great city,Babylon, the mighty city!For in a single houryour judgment has come.
Rejoice over her, heaven,and you saints, apostles, and prophets,because God has executed your judgment on her!
