But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, who is the head, even Christ:

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but much more now in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Know ye not, that they who run in the race, all run, but one receiveth the prize? so run that ye may obtain. And every one that contendeth, is temperate in all things: and they indeed, to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection, lest by any means, after having preached to others, I myself should become a reprobate.

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected: but I pursue, if I may apprehend that, for which I was also apprehended by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I do not account myself to have apprehended. But one thing I do, forgetting the things that are behind, and reaching forth unto the things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love towards one another and towards all men, as we also do towards you,

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because your faith groweth exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.

Meditate on these things; be wholly in them, that thy profiting may appear in all things.

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works,

and all evil-speakings, As new born babes desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

For this very reason giving all diligence, add to your faith courage, and to courage knowledge, And to knowledge temperance, and to temperance patience, and to patience godliness, And to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.read more.
For these being in you and abounding, make you neither slothful nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity! Amen.

He proposed to them another parable, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard-seed, which a man took and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds, but when it is grown, it is the greatest of herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches of it.

And he said, Whereto shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which when it is sown in the earth, is one of the least of the seeds that are in the earth. But when it is sown it groweth up and becometh greater than all herbs, so that the birds of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

Then said he, To what is the kingdom of God like, and to what shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard-seed which a man took and cast into his garden; and it grew and became a great tree, and the birds of the air lodged in the branches of it.

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted, by that which every joint supplieth according to the effectual working in the measure of every member, maketh increase of the body, to the edifying of itself in love.

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added daily to the church those who were saved.

But many of them who had heard the word, believed. And the number of the men was about five thousand.

And multitudes both of men and women believing were the more added to the Lord:)

And the word of God grew, and the number of disciples was multiplied in Jerusalem greatly: and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

And the hand of the Lord was with them; and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.
