Joseph came from Arimathea, a distinguished counsellor, who also himself was expecting the kingdom of God, having ventured, he went in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.


And Joseph will see his brethren, and will know them, and he will not let himself be known to them. And will speak with them hard things: and he will say to them, From whence came ye? And they will say, From the land of Canaan to buy food. And he took to himself his wife, and knew her not till she brought forth her first born son: and be called his name Jesus.
