And many from [those] sleeping {in the dusty ground} will awake, some to {everlasting life} and some to disgrace and {everlasting contempt}.

because narrow [is] the gate and constricted [is] the road that leads to life, and there are few who find it!

And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw [it] from you! It is better for you to enter into life crippled or lame than, having two hands or two feet, to be thrown into the eternal fire! And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw [it] from you! It is better for you to enter into life one-eyed than, having two eyes, to be thrown into fiery hell!

And behold, someone came up to him [and] said, "Teacher, what good [thing] must I do so that I will have eternal life?"

For if by the trespass of the one [man], death reigned through the one [man], much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny [him], [because they] are detestable and disobedient, and unfit for every good deed.
