And ye masters, do even the same things unto them, putting away threatenings: and remember that even your master also is in heaven, neither is there any respect of person with him.

"'If thy brother that dwelleth by thee wax poor and sell himself unto thee, thou shalt not let him labour as a bondservant doeth: but as a hired servant and as a sojourner he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the trumpet year,

Thou shalt not defraud a hired servant that is needy and poor, whether he be of thy brethren or a stranger that is in thy land within thy cities. Give him his hire the same day, and let not the sun go down thereon. For he is needy and therewith sustaineth his life, lest he cry against thee unto the LORD and it be sin unto thee.

And afterward Laban said unto Jacob, "Though thou be my brother, shouldest thou therefore serve me for nought? Tell me, what shall thy wages be?"

Thou shalt not beguile thy neighbour with cavillations, neither rob him violently, neither shall the workman's labour abide with thee until the morning.

Of all your gifts, ye shall take out the LORD's heave offering: even the fat of all their hallowed things.' "And thou shalt say unto them, 'When ye have taken away the fat of it from it, it shall be counted unto the Levites, as the increase of corn and wine. Servants, be obedient unto your carnal masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your hearts, as unto Christ: not with service in the eyesight, as men-pleasers: but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart

Servants, be obedient unto your bodily masters in all things: not with eye service as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart fearing God. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily as though ye did it to the Lord, and not unto men, forasmuch as ye know that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of inheritance, for ye serve the Lord Christ.

The servants exhort to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please in all things, not answering again, neither be pickers, but that they show all good faithfulness, that they may do worship to the doctrine of God our saviour in all things.

The elders that rule well are worthy of double honour, most specially they which labour in the word and in teaching. For the scripture saith, "Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn." And, "the laborer is worthy of his reward."

And in the same house tarry still, eating and drinking such as they have. For the laborer is worthy of his reward. Go not from house to house:

Who goeth a warfare any time at his own cost? Who planteth a vineyard and eateth not of the fruit? Or who feedeth a flock and eateth not of the milk? Say I these things after the manner of men? Or sayeth not the law the same also? For it is written in the law of Moses, "Thou shall not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn." Doth God take thought for oxen?read more.
Either saith he it not altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he which eareth should ear in hope: and that he which thresheth in hope, should be partaker of his hope. If we sow unto you spiritual things: is it a great thing if we reap your carnal things?

Let him that is taught in the word, minister unto him that teacheth him in all good things.

And remember that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, that shall he receive again of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

"Therefore hearken unto me, ye that have understanding. Far be it from God, that he should meddle with wickedness: and far be it from the Almighty, that he should meddle with unrighteous dealing: but he rewardeth the works of man, and causeth every man to find according to his ways.

The righteous laboureth to do good; but the ungodly useth his increase unto sin.

But when thou doest thine alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: that thine alms may be secret: and thy father which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

And his master said unto him, 'Well, good servant and faithful; Thou hast been faithful in little, I will make thee ruler over much: go in into thy master's joy.'

And he that reapeth, receiveth reward; and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: That both he that soweth and he that reapeth might rejoice together.

From henceforth is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord that is a righteous judge shall give me at that day: not to me only: but unto all them that love his coming.

For the reward of sin is death: but eternal life is the gift of God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The labour of the ungodly prospereth not; but he that showeth righteousness, shall receive a sure reward.

Do not thou triumph, O Israel; make no boasting more than the Heathen. For thou hast committed adultery against thy God: strange rewards hast thou loved, more than all the corn floors.

and have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, which loved the reward of unrighteousness:
