For he whom God hath sent, speaketh the words of God; for God giveth not him the Spirit by measure.

Then answered Jesus and said to them, Verily, verily I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do; but what things soever he doth, these also doth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doth: and he will shew him greater works than these, so that ye will marvel.

If any man be willing to do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

Jesus therefore saith to them, When ye shall have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am, and that I do nothing of myself, but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

and troubled himself, And said, Where have ye laid him?

For I have not spoken of myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me commandment, what I should say, and how I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting; what therefore I speak to you, as the Father hath said to me, so I speak.

And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

And preached the gospel there.

For what is to be known of God, is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it to them. For those things of him which are invisible, both his eternal power and Godhead, are clearly seen from the creation of the world, being understood by the things which are made, so that they are without excuse:

That their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, even unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the acknowledgment of the mystery of God,

O Timotheus, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding prophane, empty babblings, and oppositions of knowledge falsely so called: Which some professing have erred from the faith.

Peter was grieved, because he said to him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said to him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith to him, Feed my sheep.

What shall we say then? That the law is sin? God forbid. Yea, I should not have known sin, but for the law. I had not known lust, unless the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Now as to things sacrified to idols, we know: for all of us have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but love edifieth. And if any one think he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

And now we see by means of a glass obscurely; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then I shall know even as also I am known.

So that we from this time know no one after the flesh; yea, if we have known even Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

And they shall not teach every one his neighbour, and every one his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least to the greatest.

If ye know, that he is righteous, ye know that every one who doth righteousness is born of him.

But we know that the Son of God is come; and he hath given us an understanding that we may know the true one; and we are in the true one, even in his Son Jesus Christ; this is the true God and eternal life.
