And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, you that are highly favored, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women.

And she spoke out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.

But unto none of them was Elijah sent, except unto Zarephath, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, who had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people why she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.

Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

And it came to pass, as he spoke these things, a certain woman of the crowd lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which you have nursed.

And, behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no way lift herself up.

And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Or what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she loses one piece, does not light a lamp, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she finds it?

Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Last of all the woman died also.

And he denied it, saying, Woman, I know him not.

And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, who also bewailed and lamented him.

And all his acquaintances, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.

And the women also, who came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulcher, and how his body was laid.

It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, who told these things unto the apostles.

Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, who were early at the sepulcher;

And certain of them who were with us went to the sepulcher, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
