An hired servant which is not the shepherd, neither the sheep are his own, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and flyeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

To him the porter openeth the door, and the sheep hear his voice; And he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

And when he hath sent forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: For they know his voice.

His disciples said unto him, "Master, the Jews lately sought means to stone thee, and wilt thou go thither again?"

And as soon as she had so said she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, "The master is come and calleth for thee."

Ye call me 'Master' and 'Lord,' and ye say well, for so am I.

If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet: ye also ought to wash one another's feet.

Verily, verily I say unto you, the servant is not greater than his master; Neither the messenger greater than he that sent him.
