"and a man's own household will be his enemies.

"Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet, shall receive a prophet's reward; and whoever receives a righteous man, shall receive a righteous man's reward.

"Or how can any one enter the strong man's house and carry off his goods without first binding the strong man? Then he can rob his house.

"Listen, and pay attention. It is not what goes into a man's mouth that defiles him, but what comes out of it, that defiles the man."

No temptation has overtaken you that is beyond man's power; but God is faithful, who will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but will, with every temptation, provide the way of escape also, so that you may be able to withstand.
