And the wings of the cherubs were twenty cubits long. One wing was five cubits, touching to the wall of the house; and the other wing five cubits, touching to the wing of the other cherub.

And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, touching to the wall of the house; and the other wing five cubits, touching to the wing of the other cherub.

And one wing of the cherub was five cubits, and the other wing of the cherub was five cubits; ten cubits from the ends of its wings even to the ends of its wings.

And he set the cherubs inside the inner house. And they stretched forth the wings of the cherubs so that the wing of the one touched the one wall and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall. And their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.

As an eagle stirs up her nest, flutters over her young, spreads abroad her wings, takes them and bears them on her wing,

The wing of the ostrich beats joyously; though not like the stork's pinions for flight.

How precious is Your loving-kindness, O God! And the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of Your wing.

In a mountain, in a high place of Israel, I will plant it. And it shall bear boughs, and bear fruit, and be a majestic cedar. And under it shall dwell every bird of every wing; in the shadow of its branches they shall dwell.

And you, son of man, So says the Lord Jehovah. May Jehovah repay your work, and may a full reward be given you from Jehovah, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to trust.

You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself.

Does the hawk soar by your understanding? Will he spread his wings toward the south?

Keep me as the pupil, the daughter of the eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
