And the Lord turned and looked upon Peter; and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, that he had said to him, Before a cock crows this day, thou wilt thrice deny me.

But from this time the Son of man will sit on the right hand of the power of God.
Then they all said, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said to them, Ye say what is true; for I am.

And Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, I find nothing criminal in this man.
And Herod also with his guard of soldiers set him at nought and mocked him, and having arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, sent him back to Pilate.

And all the multitudes that had come together to that sight, when they had seen the things which were done, returned, beating their breasts.
and when they were terrified, and bowed their faces to the earth, the men said to them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

So the father knew that it was in the same hour in which Jesus said to him, Thy son is living. And he himself believed, and his whole house.
The Jews therefore said to him that was cured, It is the sabbath; and it is not lawful for thee to take up the bed.
He answered them, He that made me well, the same said to me, Take up thy bed, and walk. T
hey asked him, Who is the man that said to thee, Take up, and walk?
Afterwards Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, Behold, thou art made well; sin no more, lest something worse befall thee.
On this account the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only broke the sabbath, but also said that God was his own Father, making himself equal with God.
Then answered Jesus and said to them, Truly, truly do I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing; for whatever He doeth, these things the Son also doeth in like manner;
And Jesus went up into the mountain, and sat there with his disciples.
But this he said to try him; for he himself knew what he was going to do.
Jesus said, Make the men lie down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men lay down, in number about five thousand.
The men therefore seeing the sign which he wrought, said, This is truly the prophet that was to come into the world.
The day following, the multitude which stood on the other side of the lake having seen that there was no other boat there but one, and that Jesus did not go with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples went away alone,
And having found him on the other side of the lake, they said to him, Rabbi, when didst thou come hither?
Jesus answered them and said, Truly, truly do I say to you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw signs, but because ye ate of the loaves, and were filled.
Labor not for the food that perisheth, but for the food that endureth to everlasting life, which the Son of man giveth to you; for on him hath the Father set his seal, even God.
