they trap my feet

Shall he be taken in front? will they pierce through his nose in the trap?


He has dug a pit and hollowed it out,
And has fallen into the [very] pit which he made [as a trap].

When my enemies turn back, they trip and are defeated before you.

The nations have sunk down into the pit they made, their feet are ensnared in the trap they set.

My eyes look to the LORD continuously, because he's the one who releases my feet from the trap.
