For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with the wisdom of speech, in order that the cross of Christ may not be made of none effect. For the word of the cross is foolishness indeed to those who are lost; but to those who are saved it is the power of God.

But I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? then the offence of the cross would be done away. Verse ConceptsAbolitionOffenceNecessity Of CircumcisionSignificance Of Christ's CrucifixionPersecution
