Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience. And we wish to live honorably in all things.
Pray on my behalf, that ability to speak may be given to me, to make known with boldness the secret of the good news.
Now I beg you, brothers, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me.

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching.

But as you have plenty of everything, in faith, and speech, and knowledge, and in all earnestness, and in your love for us, see that you have plenty of this undeserved kindness also.
Timothy came from you to us, and brought us good news about your faith and love. We want you to have good memories of us always, and that you desire to see us just as we also desire to see you.
