Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the sons of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. I am the LORD.

But the stranger that dwells with you shall be as the natural of yourselves, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. I AM your God.

If I then, the Lord and the Master, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example that ye should do as I have done to you.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall everyone know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his soul for his friends.

This I command you, that ye love one another.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die, yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

Let love be without dissimulation, abhorring that which is evil, causing you to come unto that which is good; loving one another with brotherly love, with honour preferring one another;

Rejoice with those that rejoice and weep with those that weep. Be unanimous among yourselves, not high minded, but accommodating the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

Owe no one anything, but love one unto another; for he that loves his neighbour has fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not murder, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet, and if there is any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Charity works no evil to a neighbour; therefore, charity is the fulfillment of the law.

Let us, therefore, follow after the things which make for peace and the edification of each one to the others.

It is good neither to eat flesh nor to drink wine nor do any thing by which thy brother stumbles or is offended or is sick.

We then that are stronger ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not please ourselves. Let each one of us please his neighbour in that which is good, unto edification.

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be unanimous among yourselves according to Christ Jesus,

Therefore, if food makes my brother to fall, I will never eat flesh nor do anything which may cause my brother to fall.

Let no one seek his own good, but that of the other.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor and though I give my body to be burned and have not charity, it profits me nothing.read more.
Charity suffers long and is benign; charity envies not; charity does nothing without due reason, is not puffed up, is not injurious, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil, rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Charity is never lost, but prophecies shall come to an end, tongues shall cease, and knowledge shall come to an end.

And now abide faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Let all your things be done with charity.

And if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and saving health, which is effected in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and saving health.

as also ye have known in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only do not use liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by charity serve one another.

But the fruit of the Spirit is this: Charity, joy, peace, tolerance, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Brethren, if anyone is overtaken in a fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of the Christ.

Therefore as long as we have the opportunity, let us do good unto everyone, especially unto those who are of the household of faith.

with all humility and meekness, with tolerance, forbearing one another in love,

and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another even as God has forgiven you in Christ.

and walk in charity even as the Christ also has loved us and has given himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.

fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same charity, unanimous, minding the one thing.

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the charity which ye have toward all the saints,

Clothed, therefore, (as the elect of God, holy and beloved) with bowels of mercies, with kindness, with humility, with meekness, with tolerance, forbearing one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a quarrel against another: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfection.

And the Lord make you to multiply and make charity to abound among you and toward all men, even as it is with us toward you,

But as touching love among the brethren, ye need not that I write unto you, for ye yourselves have learned of God that ye are to show charity to one another.

Therefore comfort and edify one another, even as ye do.

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labour of charity which ye have showed in his name, having helped the saints and helping them.

And let us consider one another to provoke unto charity and unto good works,

Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to show hospitality; for thereby some, having entertained angels, were kept. Remember those that are in bonds as bound with them and those who suffer adversity as being yourselves also in the body.

If ye truly fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well;

Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth, by the Spirit, in unfeigned brotherly love, love one another with a pure heart fervently,

Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

And finally, be ye all of one consent, of one affection, loving each other fraternally, merciful, courteous, not rendering evil for evil or curse for curse, but to the contrary, blessing, knowing that ye are called, that ye should possess a blessing by inheritance.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves; for charity shall cover a multitude of sins.

and in fear of God, brotherly love; and in brotherly love, charity.

He that says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness and does not know where he goes, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

In this the sons of God are manifest, and the sons of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness and that loves not his brother is not of God. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, That we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of the wicked one and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hates you.

In this we have known the charity of God because he laid down his life for us; we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whosoever has this world's goods and sees his brother have need and shuts up his bowels of compassion from him, how does the charity of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he has commanded us.

Beloved, let us love one another, for charity is of God. Anyone that loves is born of God and knows God.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and his charity is completed in us.

If anyone says, I love God and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he that does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And we have this commandment from him, That he who loves God loves his brother also.

Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and anyone that loves him that begat also loves him that is born of him. In this we know that we love the sons of God, when we love God and keep his commandments.

And now I beseech thee, lady, (not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning) that we love one another.
