And the God of all grace, Who called you into His everlasting glory in Christ, after ye have suffered a little while, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, settle you.

But, when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb, and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might proclaim the good news of Him among the gentiles; straightway I conferred not with flesh and blood,

and that He might make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory, even us, whom He also called, not from Jews only, but also from gentiles? As He saith in Hosea, "I will call that My people, which was not My people; and her, 'Beloved,' who was not beloved. And it shall be that in the place where it was said, 'Ye are not My people,' there shall they be called sons of the living God."

but we preach Christ crucified; to the Jews, a stumbling-block, and to the gentiles foolishness; but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
