'Deliverance' in the Bible

So now, do not be distressed and do not be angry {with yourselves} that you sold me here, for God sent me as deliverance before you.

And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

I wait for your deliverance, O Lord.

The king of Egypt eventually died, and the Israelis groaned because of the bondage. They cried out, and their cry for deliverance from slavery ascended to God.

But the people said to Saul, “Must Jonathan die, who accomplished such a great deliverance for Israel? No, as the Lord lives, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground, for he worked with God’s help today.” So the people redeemed Jonathan, and he did not die.

He risked his life and struck down the Philistine, and the LORD brought about a spectacular deliverance for all Israel. You saw that and rejoiced, so why would you do wrong and shed innocent blood by killing David without cause?"

“He is a tower of deliverance to His king,And shows lovingkindness to His anointed,To David and his descendants forever.”

Yet not so [is] my house with God, for he made an everlasting covenant for me, arranging everything. He has secured all my deliverance, and all my desire he will cause to happen.

Let all the earth sing to the LORD! Day after day proclaim his deliverance!

His children are far from deliverance; they'll be maltreated before they leave home, with no one to rescue them.

“Is it that my help is not within me,And that deliverance is driven from me?

‘According to Your knowledge I am indeed not guilty,Yet there is no deliverance from Your hand.

Yes, this will result in my deliverance,for no godless person can appear before Him.

Oh, that Israel’s deliverance would come from Zion!When the Lord restores the fortunes of His people,Jacob will rejoice; Israel will be glad.

A psalm. Sing to the Lord a new song, for he performs amazing deeds! His right hand and his mighty arm accomplish deliverance.

I am looking in hope for your deliverance, LORD, as I carry out your commands.

I am longing for your deliverance, LORD, and your instruction is my joy.
