I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercifulness of God, that ye make your bodies a living sacrifice: holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable serving of God.

But my trust is in thy mercy, and my heart is joyful in thy salvation.

As for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God, my trust is in the tender mercy of God for ever and ever.

For by grace are ye made safe through faith, and that, not of yourselves: For it is the gift of God,

for this cause was mercy given unto me, that Jesus Christ should first show on me all long patience, unto the example of them which shall, in time to come, believe on him unto eternal life.

Let us therefore go boldly unto the seat of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Likewise, ye younger submit yourselves unto the elder. Submit yourselves every man, one to another. Knit yourselves together in lowliness of mind. For God resisteth the proud and giveth grace to the humble.

but giveth more grace?

Be ye therefore merciful, as your father is merciful.

I will show thee, O man, what is good, and what the LORD requireth of thee: Namely, to do right, to have pleasure in loving-kindness, to be lowly, and to walk with thy God.

"Thus sayeth the LORD of Hosts, 'Execute true judgment, and show mercy and loving-kindness, every man to his brother.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Go and learn, what that meaneth: 'I have pleasure in mercy, and not in offering.' For I am not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance."

And he answered and said, "Thou shalt love thy Lord God, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind: and thy neighbor as thyself." Jesus answered and said, "A certain man descended from Jerusalem into Jericho; And fell into the hands of thieves, which robbed him of his raiment and wounded him, and departed leaving him half dead. And by chance, there came a certain priest that same way, and when he saw him, he passed by. And likewise a Levite, when he was come nigh to the place, went and looked on him, and passed by. Then a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came nigh unto him: and when he saw him, had compassion on him, and went to him, and bound up his wounds, and poured in wine, and oil, and put him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and made provision for him. And on the morrow, when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host and said unto him, 'Take care of him, and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again I will recompense thee.' Which now of these three, thinkest thou was neighbor unto him that fell into the thieves hands?" And he said, "He that showed mercy on him." Then said Jesus unto him, "Go and do thou likewise."

So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For there shall be judgment, merciless, to him that showeth no mercy, and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

And forgive us our trespasses, even as we forgive our trespassers.

And forgive us our sins: For even we forgive every man that trespasseth us, and lead us not into temptation; But deliver us from evil. Amen."

For and if ye shall forgive other men their trespasses, your heavenly father shall also forgive you.

Then came Peter to him, and said, "Master, how oft shall I forgive my brother, if he sin against me? Shall I forgive him seven times?" Jesus said unto him, "I say not unto thee seven times: but seventy times seven times. Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain King, which would take accounts of his servants.read more.
And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents: Whom, because he had nought to pay, his Master commanded him to be sold: and his wife, and his children, and all that he had; and payment to be made. The servant fell down and besought him saying, 'Sir, give me respite, and I will pay it every whit.' Then had the Lord pity on that servant, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. And the said servant went out and found one of his fellows, which owed him a hundred pence. And laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me that thou owest.' And his fellow fell down, and besought him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.' And he would not, but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. When his other fellows saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their Lord all that had happened. Then his Lord called him, and said unto him, 'O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou praydest me: Was it not mete also, that thou shouldest have had compassion on thy fellow, even as I had pity on thee?' And his Lord was wroth, and delivered him to the jailers, till he should pay all that was due to him. So like wise shall my heavenly father do unto you, except ye forgive with your hearts, each one to his brother their trespasses."

"Judge not and ye shall not be judged. Condemn not: and ye shall not be condemned. Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And though he sin against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee saying, It repenteth me, forgive him."

So that now contrariwise ye ought to forgive him and comfort him: lest that same person should be swallowed up with overmuch heaviness.

Be ye courteous one to another, and merciful, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake forgave you.

forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel to another; even as Christ forgave you, even so do ye.

Let brotherly love continue.

Then shall the righteous answer him saying, 'Master, when saw we thee a hungered, and fed thee? Or athirst, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee harborless, and lodged thee? Or naked and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison and came unto thee?'read more.
And the King shall answer and say unto them, 'Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me.'

Let love be without dissimulation. Hate that which is evil, and cleave unto that which is good. Be kind one to another, with brotherly love. In giving honour go one before another. Let not that business which ye have in hand be tedious to you. Be fervent in the spirit. Apply yourselves to the time.read more.
Rejoice in hope. Be patient in tribulation, continue in prayer. Distribute unto the necessity of the saints, and diligently to harbour. Bless them which persecute you: bless, but curse not. Be merry with them that are merry. Weep with them that weep. Be of like affection one towards another. Be not high minded, but make yourselves equal to them of the lower sort. Be not wise in your own opinions. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide aforehand things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, howbeit of your part, have peace with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves but give room unto the wrath of God. For it is written, "Vengeance is mine, and I will reward, saith the Lord." Therefore, if thine enemy hunger, feed him: if he thirst, give him drink. For in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil: But overcome evil with goodness.

Therefore seeing that we have such an office, even as mercy is come on us, we faint not:

but the Lord is faithful, which shall establish you, and keep you from evil. We have confidence through the Lord to you ward, that ye both do, and will do, that which we command you. And the Lord guide your hearts unto the love of God, and patience of Christ.

I do you to wit, brethren, of the grace of God, which is given in the congregations of Macedonia:

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, if one be dead for all, that then are all dead: and that he died for all, because that they which live, should not henceforth live unto themselves: but unto him which died for them and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh. Insomuch that though we have known Christ after the flesh, now henceforth know we him so no more.read more.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away: behold, all things are become new. Nevertheless, all things are of God, which hath reconciled us unto himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given unto us the office to preach the atonement. For God was in Christ, and made agreement between the world and himself, and imputed not their sins unto them: and hath committed to us the preaching of the atonement. Now then are we messengers in the room of Christ: even as though God did beseech you through us. So pray we you, in Christ's stead, that ye be at one with God:
