And if someone wants to sue you and to take your tunic, give him your coat also.
How else can someone enter a strong man's house and steal his property, unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can thoroughly plunder the house.
Someone told him, "Look, your mother and your brothers are standing outside wanting to speak to you."
But you say, 'If someone tells his father or mother, "Whatever help you would have received from me is given to God,"
Leave them! They are blind guides. If someone who is blind leads another who is blind, both will fall into a pit."
What do you think? If someone owns a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go look for the one that went astray?
Now someone came up to him and said, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to gain eternal life?"
So then, if someone says to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out, or 'Look, he is in the inner rooms,' do not believe him.
He also said, "The kingdom of God is like someone who spreads seed on the ground.
His disciples answered him, "Where can someone get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy these people?"
John said to him, "Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him because he was not following us."
Now as Jesus was starting out on his way, someone ran up to him, fell on his knees, and said, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
I tell you the truth, if someone says to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
Then someone ran, filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on a stick, and gave it to him to drink, saying, "Leave him alone! Let's see if Elijah will come to take him down!"
He also told them a parable: "Someone who is blind cannot lead another who is blind, can he? Won't they both fall into a pit?
But Jesus said, "Someone touched me, for I know that power has gone out from me."
While he was still speaking, someone from the synagogue ruler's house came and said, "Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher any longer."
John answered, "Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him because he is not a disciple along with us."
As they were walking along the road, someone said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go."
Then someone from the crowd said to him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me."
Someone asked him, "Lord, will only a few be saved?" So he said to them,
"When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, because a person more distinguished than you may have been invited by your host.
And if you haven't been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you your own?
"Everyone who divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery, and the one who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.
Then the rich man said, 'No, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'
He replied to him, 'If they do not respond to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'"
Then a little later someone else saw him and said, "You are one of them too." But Peter said, "Man, I am not!"
The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up. While I am trying to get into the water, someone else goes down there before me."
I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.
Never before has anyone heard of someone causing a man born blind to see.
Others said, "These are not the words of someone possessed by a demon. A demon cannot cause the blind to see, can it?"
But someone came and reported to them, "Look! The men you put in prison are standing in the temple courts and teaching the people!"
Now in that city was a man named Simon, who had been practicing magic and amazing the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great.
The man replied, "How in the world can I, unless someone guides me?" So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
Then the eunuch said to Philip, "Please tell me, who is the prophet saying this about -- himself or someone else?"
Look, you scoffers; be amazed and perish! For I am doing a work in your days, a work you would never believe, even if someone tells you.'"
If then Demetrius and the craftsmen who are with him have a complaint against someone, the courts are open and there are proconsuls; let them bring charges against one another there.
Therefore you are without excuse, whoever you are, when you judge someone else. For on whatever grounds you judge another, you condemn yourself, because you who judge practice the same things.
therefore you who teach someone else, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?
but someone is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart by the Spirit and not by the written code. This person's praise is not from people but from God.
(For rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person perhaps someone might possibly dare to die.)
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Absolutely not! Certainly, I would not have known sin except through the law. For indeed I would not have known what it means to desire something belonging to someone else if the law had not said, "Do not covet."
How are they to call on one they have not believed in? And how are they to believe in one they have not heard of? And how are they to hear without someone preaching to them?
For if your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy by your food someone for whom Christ died.
For whenever someone says, "I am with Paul," or "I am with Apollos," are you not merely human?
According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master-builder I laid a foundation, but someone else builds on it. And each one must be careful how he builds.
If what someone has built survives, he will receive a reward.
If someone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, which is what you are.
Guard against self-deception, each of you. If someone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become foolish so that he can become wise.
It is actually reported that sexual immorality exists among you, the kind of immorality that is not permitted even among the Gentiles, so that someone is cohabiting with his father's wife.
In whatever situation someone was called, brothers and sisters, let him remain in it with God.
A wife is bound as long as her husband is living. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes (only someone in the Lord).
If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know.
For if someone weak sees you who possess knowledge dining in an idol's temple, will not his conscience be "strengthened" to eat food offered to idols?
But if someone says to you, "This is from a sacrifice," do not eat, because of the one who told you and because of conscience --
Otherwise, if you are praising God with your spirit, how can someone without the gift say "Amen" to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?
If someone speaks in a tongue, it should be two, or at the most three, one after the other, and someone must interpret.
And if someone sitting down receives a revelation, the person who is speaking should conclude.
If someone does not recognize this, he is not recognized.
But someone will say, "How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?"
For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus different from the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit than the one you received, or a different gospel than the one you accepted, you put up with it well enough!
For you put up with it if someone makes slaves of you, if someone exploits you, if someone takes advantage of you, if someone behaves arrogantly toward you, if someone strikes you in the face.
Let each one examine his own work. Then he can take pride in himself and not compare himself with someone else.
not like those who do their work only when someone is watching -- as people-pleasers -- but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.
-- though mine too are significant. If someone thinks he has good reasons to put confidence in human credentials, I have more:
bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others.
But we know that the law is good if someone uses it legitimately,
This saying is trustworthy: "If someone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a good work."
But if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for the church of God?
But if someone does not provide for his own, especially his own family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
If someone spreads false teachings and does not agree with sound words (that is, those of our Lord Jesus Christ) and with the teaching that accords with godliness,
So if someone cleanses himself of such behavior, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart, useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
Instead someone testified somewhere: "What is man that you think of him or the son of man that you care for him?
For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.
For though you should in fact be teachers by this time, you need someone to teach you the beginning elements of God's utterances. You have gone back to needing milk, not solid food.
Someone who rejected the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

For if someone comes into your assembly wearing a gold ring and fine clothing, and a poor person enters in filthy clothes,
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but does not have works? Can this kind of faith save him?
But someone will say, "You have faith and I have works." Show me your faith without works and I will show you faith by my works.
For we all stumble in many ways. If someone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect individual, able to control the entire body as well.
My brothers and sisters, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone turns him back,
For this finds God's favor, if because of conscience toward God someone endures hardships in suffering unjustly.
