4 We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

4 We will (F)not conceal them from their children,But (G)tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,And His strength and His (H)wondrous works that He has done.

4 We must not hide them from their children,but must tell a future generationthe praises of the Lord,His might, and the wonderful worksHe has performed.(E)

23 Yet He commanded the clouds aboveAnd (AQ)opened the doors of heaven;

23 He gave a command to the clouds aboveand opened the doors of heaven.(X)

24 He (AR)rained down manna upon them to eatAnd gave them (i)(AS)food from heaven.

28 And let them fall in the midst of their camp, - Round about their habitations.

29 So they did eat and were abundantly filled, When, what they longed for, he had brought them: -

29 So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;

29 So they (AW)ate and were well filled,And their desire He gave to them.

29 They ate and were completely satisfied,for He gave them what they craved.(AC)

29 So they ate and were very satisfied, because he granted their desire.

30 They had not turned away from what they had longed for, Yet was their food in their mouth,

30 They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths,

30 (p)Before they had satisfied their desire,(AX)While their food was in their mouths,

30 Before they had satisfied their desire,while the food was still in their mouths,

33 He made their days end in futility,their years in sudden disaster.(AF)

33 So he made their days end in futility, and their years with sudden terror.

34 If he slew of them, then they sought him, Yea they turned, and did earnestly seek GOD;

34 When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and inquired early after God.

35 Then they remembered that God was their rock, and the Most High God was their deliverer.

36 So they spake him fair with their mouth, And, with their tongue, did promise him falsely;

36 Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues.

36 But they (BH)deceived Him with their mouthAnd (BI)lied to Him with their tongue.

36 But they deceived Him with their mouths,they lied to Him with their tongues,(AI)

36 But they deceived him with their mouths; they lied to him with their tongues.

37 But, their heart, was not fixed with him, Nor were they trusty in his covenant:

38 Yet, he, full of compassion, would put a propitiatory-covering over iniquity, and not destroy, - Yea, many a time, turned he back his anger, And would not stir up all his wrath.

38 But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.

38 But He, being (BK)compassionate, (t)(BL)forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them;And often He (u)(BM)restrained His angerAnd did not arouse all His wrath.

38 Yet He was compassionate;He atoned for(f) their guiltand did not destroy them.He often turned His anger asideand did not unleash(g) all His wrath.(AK)

38 But he, being merciful, forgave their iniquity and didn't destroy them; He restrained his anger and didn't vent all his wrath.

39 So then he remembered, That, Flesh, they were, A Wind departing, that returneth not.

39 For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.

39 Thus (BN)He remembered that they were but (BO)flesh,A (v)(BP)wind that passes and does not return.

39 He remembered that they were only flesh,a wind that passes and does not return.(AL)

39 For he remembered that they were only flesh, a passing wind that doesn't return.
