To the Chief Musician, for stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness; You gave room to me in trouble; have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.

Have mercy on me, O Jehovah; see my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death,

Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am wasted and afflicted.

Hear, O Jehovah, when I cry with my voice; and have mercy on me, and answer me.
