'It is I' in the Bible
that I will take nothing belonging to you, not even a thread or the strap of a sandal. That way you can never say, 'It is I who made Abram rich.'
It is I: behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of a multitude of nations.
Now Abimelech had not approached her, so he said, “Lord, would You destroy a nation even though it is innocent?
And he said, Art thou really my son Esau? And he said, It is I.
For it was little that thou hadst before me, and it is increased to a multitude, and Jehovah has blessed thee from the time I came; and now, when shall I also provide for my house?
It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spake unto me yesternight, saying, Take thou heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother and conceal his blood?
and the one openeth his sack to give provender to his ass at a lodging-place, and he seeth his money, and lo, it is in the mouth of his bag,
And he said to his brothers, “My money has been returned! Here it is in my sack!” And their hearts sank, and they were afraid and turned trembling to one another, saying, “What is this that God has done to us?”
Now behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin see, that {it is I} who am speaking to you.
Then God said, "I certainly will be with you. And this will be the sign for you that it is I who sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, all of you will serve God on this mountain."
Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who redeemed you and brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
" 'If a man borrows from his neighbor and it is injured or dies [while] its owner is not with it, he will make restitution.
And thou, speak thou unto the children of Israel, saying, Surely my sabbaths shall ye keep; for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that ye may know that it is I, Jehovah, who do hallow you.
and Aaron saith, 'Let not the anger of my lord burn; thou -- thou hast known the people that it is in evil;
And let the priest make an atonement for him for his sin - whatsoever of these he hath sinned - and it shall be forgiven. And the remnant shall be the priest's, as it is in the meat offering.'"
When a man has a rising in the skin of his flesh, or a scab or bright spot, and it is in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests.
an old leprosy it is in the skin of his flesh, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; he doth not shut him up, for he is unclean.
And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it is in sight lower than the skin, and the hair of it is turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.
And if it is increasing on the skin, the priest will say that he is unclean: it is a disease.
Then the priest shall look upon it: and behold, if the hair in the bright spot is turned white, and it is in sight deeper than the skin: it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
And the priest is to see him again on the seventh day; if it is increased in the skin, then the priest will say that he is unclean: it is the leper's disease.
And if the bright spot stay in its place, it hath not spread in the skin, and is become weak; a rising of the burning it is, and the priest hath pronounced him clean; for it is inflammation of the burning.
Then the priest shall see the plague: and behold, if it is in sight deeper than the skin, and there is in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.
whether it is in warp, or woof; of linen, or of wool; whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin;
He shall examine the mark, and if the mark on the walls of the house has greenish or reddish depressions and appears deeper than the surface,
then shall the priest come in, and take a view, and lo! if the mark hath spread in the house, a fretting leprosy, it is in the house unclean, it is,
For the soul of the flesh it is in the blood; and I gave it to you upon the altar to expiate for your souls: for the blood shall expiate for the soul.
For the soul of all flesh it is its blood in its soul: and say to the sons of Israel, The blood of all flesh ye shall not eat, for the soul of all flesh it is its blood: all eating it shall be cut off.
Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter. Thou shall not take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near kinswomen. It is iniquity.
And if it is indeed eaten on the third day, it [is] unclean meat; it shall not be regarded as accepted.
And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is infamy: they shall burn him and them with fire, that there be no infamy among you.
And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is impurity: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
For the land shall be left by them, and shall enjoy its sabbaths, when it is in desolation without them; and they shall accept the punishment of their iniquity; because, even because they despised my judgments, and their soul abhorred my statutes.
They told Moses, "We went to the land where you sent us. It is indeed flowing with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.
And the priest hath made atonement for all the company of the sons of Israel, and it hath been forgiven them, for it is ignorance, and they -- they have brought in their offering, a fire-offering to Jehovah, even their sin-offering before Jehovah for their ignorance;
"Select Nun's son Joshua. The Spirit is in that man," the LORD answered Moses. "You are to lay your hand on him
(For only Og, king of Bashan, was left from the remnant of the Rephaim. Indeed, his bedstead--it [was] a bedstead of iron. It is in Rabbah of the {Ammonites}. Nine cubits [is] its length, and four cubits [is] its width according to the cubit of a man.)
You must investigate thoroughly and inquire carefully. If it is indeed true that such a disgraceful thing is being done among you,
When it is reported to you and you hear about it, you must investigate carefully. If it is indeed true that such a disgraceful thing is being done in Israel,
For the thing is very near you -- it is in your mouth and in your mind so that you can do it.
‘See now that I, I am He,And there is no god besides Me;It is I who put to death and give life.I have wounded and it is I who heal,And there is no one who can deliver from My hand.
The God of gods, Jehovah, the God of gods, Jehovah, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know it; if it is in rebellion, or if in trespass against Jehovah, save us not this day!
and the man goeth to the land of the Hittites, and buildeth a city, and calleth its name Luz -- it is its name unto this day.
and Ehud maketh for himself a sword, and it hath two mouths (a cubit is its length), and he girdeth it under his long robe on his right thigh;
So Gideon built an altar to the Lord there and called it Yahweh Shalom. It is in Ophrah of the Abiezrites until today.

Then God made a crack in the hollow rock in Lehi and water came out of it; and after drinking, his spirit came back to him and he was strong again; so that place was named En-hakkore; it is in Lehi to this day.

and there is no deliverer, for it is far off from Zidon, and they have no word with any man, and it is in the valley which is by Beth-Rehob; and they build the city, and dwell in it,
And I will stir me up a faithful priest that shall do as it is in mine heart and in my mind. And I will build him a sure house. And he shall walk before mine anointed forever.

And David spoke to Jehovah when he saw the angel that smote among the people, and said, Behold, it is I that have sinned, and it is I that have committed iniquity; but these sheep, what have they done? let thy hand, I pray thee, be on me, and on my father's house!
As to the porch on the front of the temple of the house, twenty cubits is its length on the front of the breadth of the house; ten by the cubit is its breadth on the front of the house;

Famine -- when it is in the land; pestilence -- when it is; blasting, mildew, locust; caterpillar -- when it is; when its enemy hath distressed it in the land in its gates, any plague, any sickness, --
And he answered him, It is I: go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here .
And David said to God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? It is I that have sinned and done evil; but these sheep, what have they done? Let thy hand, I pray thee, Jehovah my God, be on me and on my father's house; but not on thy people, that they should be smitten.
Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.
Riches and honor come from You, and You are the ruler of everything. Power and might are in Your hand, and it is in Your hand to make great and to give strength to all.
Famine, when it is in the land, pestilence, when it is, blasting, and mildew, locust, and caterpillar, when they are, when its enemies have distressed it in the land -- its gates, any plague and any sickness;
And Amaziah hath not hearkened, for from God it is in order to give them into hand, because they have sought the gods of Edom;
Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with Jehovah, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
And Judah said, The strength of the workmen is giving way, and there is much waste material; it is impossible for us to put up the wall.
While it is in its budding -- uncropped, Even before any herb it withereth.
What profit is it to you to be cruel, to give up the work of your hands, looking kindly on the design of evil-doers?
What is the Ruler of all, that we may give him worship? and what profit is it to us to make prayer to him?
Surely a spirit is in man, And the breath of the Mighty One Doth cause them to understand.
Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding.It is impossible for God to do wrong,and for the Almighty to act unjustly.
What profit is it to me, and how am I better off than if I had done wrong?
And now, they have not seen the light, Bright it is in the clouds, And the wind hath passed by and cleanseth them.
What profit is in my blood, in going down to the pit? Shall the dust praise You? Shall it tell of Your truth?
If one comes to see me, deceit is in his heart; he keeps a store of evil, which he makes public in every place.
And I think to know this, Perverseness it is in mine eyes,
“When I select an appointed time,It is I who judge with equity.
“The earth and all the inhabitants of it melt [in tumultuous times].It is I who will steady its pillars. Selah.
He has remembered His covenant forever,The word which He commanded and established to a thousand generations,
You reject all those who stray from your statutes, for their deceit is in vain.
When my spirit is in heaviness, thou knowest my path: in the way wherein I walk have they privily laid a snare for me.
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Deceit is in the heart of them that devise evil; But to the counsellors of peace is joy.
You may grasp the lizard with your hands,Yet it is in kings’ palaces.
When the good thing increases, those who eat it increase; then what profit is it to its owners, except to see it with their eyes?
Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination to me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot endure; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Alas! for the lawless, it is ill, For what his own hand hath matured, shall he done to him.
Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy, and to cut off nations not a few.
When thus it is in the heart of the land, In the midst of the peoples, As the compassing of the olive, As gleanings when harvest hath been finished,
And the fading flower of its glorious beauty,Which is at the head of the fertile valley,Will be like the first-ripe fig prior to summer,Which one sees,And as soon as it is in his hand,He swallows it.
For I, Yahweh your God, [am] grasping your right hand; {it is I who say} to you, "You must not fear; I myself, I will help you.
It is I that have declared, and have saved, and have shewed, when there was no strange god among you; and ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, that I am God.
“It is I who sweep away your transgressionsfor My own sakeand remember your sins no more.
Confirming the word of His servantAnd performing the purpose of His messengers.It is I who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be inhabited!’And of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall be built.’And I will raise up her ruins again.
“It is I who says to the depth of the sea, ‘Be dried up!’And I will make your rivers dry.
