'It is Written' in the Bible
For it is written - I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and, the discernment of the discerning, will I set aside.
In order that, even as it is written - He that boasteth, in the Lord, let him boast.
But, even as it is written - The things which eye hath not seen, and ear hath not heard, and upon the heart of man have not come up, - whatsoever things God hath prepared for them that love him,
For, the wisdom of this world, is, foolishness with God; for it is written - He that taketh the wise in their knavery, -
For, in the law of Moses, it is written - Thou shalt not muzzle an ox when it is treading out the corn: - Is it, for the oxen, God is caring?
Neither become ye, idolaters, as some of them, - as it is written - The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to be making sport;
In the law, it is written - With strange tongues, and with lips of strangers, will I speak unto this people; and, not even so, will they hearken unto me, - saith the Lord.
Thus, also, it is written - The first man, Adam, became, a living soul, the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
