I am weary with my groaning; {I flood} my bed every night. With my tears {I drench} my couch.

sheep and cattle, all of them, and also [the] wild animals of [the] field,

For you will {turn them to flight}; you will aim [arrows] on your bowstrings at their faces.

Yahweh sits [enthroned] at the flood, and Yahweh sits [as] king forever.

Therefore let all [the] faithful pray to you at [the] time [for] finding [you]. Surely at [the] flood of many waters they will not reach him.

I know every bird of [the] mountains, and [every] moving creature in [the] field [is] mine.

Do not let the torrent of waters flood over me, or [the] deep swallow me, or the pit close its mouth over me.

When my heart was embittered and I felt stabbed in my kidneys,

Swine from the forests devour it and creatures of [the] field feed on it.

You sweep them away [like a flood]. They fall asleep. In the morning [they are] like grass [that] sprouts anew.

Let [the] field with all that [is] in it exult. Then all [the] trees of [the] forests will sing for joy

As for man, his days [are] like the grass. As the flower of the field, so he blossoms.

At your rebuke they fled; at the sound of your thunder they ran off.

They give drink for every beast of [the] field. [The] wild donkeys {quench} their thirst.

The sea looked and fled; the Jordan turned back.

What's with you, O sea, [that] you fled? O Jordan, [that] you turned back?

Praise him with tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flute.
