Ask for thee a sign from Jehovah thy God; make deep the asking, or make high upwards.

And Ahaz will say, I will not ask and I will not tempt Jehovah.

And I shall see, and no man; and from these, and no counselor; and I shall ask them, and they will not turn back a word.

Thus said Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, and his potter, Ask me of things coming concerning the sons, and concerning the work of my hands will ye command me?

And day, day, they will seek me, and delight to know my way as a nation who did justice and forsook not the judgment of his God: they will ask me the judgments of justice, they will delight to draw near to Gad.
