But to him working, the reward is not reckoned according to grace, but according to debt.

But to him not working, but believing on Him justifying the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Then has that which is good become death to me? Let it not be! But sin, that it might appear to be sin, working death in me by that which is good; in order that sin might become exceedingly sinful by the commandment.

But if I do what I do not desire, it is no more I working it out, but sin dwelling in me.

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another; males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error.

But if by grace, then it is no more of works; otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it is of works, then it is no more of grace; otherwise work is no more work.
