Whatever is used by those who build upon this foundation, whether gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,

If any person’s work which he has built [on this foundation, that is, any outcome of his effort] remains [and survives this test], he will receive a reward.

I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people??10 not that you are to have nothing whatever to do with the immoral people of the world, any more than with its greedy and grasping people or idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world altogether.

flee the whoredom; every sin -- whatever a man may commit -- is without the body, and he who is committing whoredom, against his own body doth sin.

Whatever condition God has allotted to any man, let him go on in the same state he was in when he became a christian: this I give as a standing rule to all churches.

Whatever be the condition of life in which he was called, in that let him continue.

Brothers, each person should remain with God in whatever situation he was called.

So then, if it is a question of food or drink, or any other thing, whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

You are conscious that when you were Gentiles, in whatever way you were guided, you went after images without voice or power.

But I am whatever I am because of God's unearned favor, and the favor He showed me was not for nothing [i.e., Paul made the most of his conversion by being extra diligent in his service to God]. But I worked harder than all the other apostles, yet it was not I, but God's favor on me [that accomplished it].

and whatever you sow, you don't sow that body which shall afterwards appear, but only the bare grain of wheat, for instance, or of some other grain.

on every first day of the week, let each one of you lay by him, treasuring up whatever he may have prospered, that when I may come then collections may not be made;

When I come I will send whatever persons you authorize with credentials, to carry your gift to Jerusalem.

and I shall likely stay over with you some time, or maybe spend the winter with you, so that you may help me on to whatever points I may visit.
