And it will kindle to Saul greatly, and this word will be evil in his eyes; and he will say, They gave to David ten thousands and to me they gave thousands, and yet to him but the kingdom.

And Saul's daughter Michal was in love with David: and Saul had word of it and was pleased.

And his servants will announce to David these words, and the word will be straight in David's eyes, to be son-in-law to the king: and the days were not filled up.

And Jonathan said, Do not have such a thought: for if I saw that my father was designing evil against you, would I not give you word of it?

Then David said to Jonathan, Who will give me word if your father gives you a rough answer?

{So may Yahweh punish Jonathan and more} if {my father decides to do you harm} and if {I fail to disclose it to you} and send word to you that you can go safely. And may Yahweh be with you, as he has been with my father.

And Jonathan will say to him, To-morrow the new moon: and thou wert reviewed, for thy seat will be reviewed.

and he gave orders to teach the descendants of Judah the art of warfare, as is recorded in the Book of Jashar:

And the men of Judah came there, and with the holy oil made David king over the people of Judah. And word came to David that it was the men of Jabesh-gilead who put Saul's body in its last resting-place.

And the mourning will pass over, and David will send and take her to his house, and she will be to him for wife, and bear to him a son. And the word which David did will be evil in the eyes of Jehovah.
