They conquered (overcame) him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they did not love their lives when faced with death.

They agreed with him and called the apostles. They beat them and commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus. Then they let them go. They left the council and rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. They taught daily in the temple and in every house. They did not cease to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

The sea gave up the dead in it. Death and the grave delivered up the dead in them. Every man was judged according to his works. Death and the grave were hurled into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
