'Violence' in the Bible
The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
And Sarai saith unto Abram, 'My violence is for thee; I -- I have given mine handmaid into thy bosom, and she seeth that she hath conceived, and I am lightly esteemed in her eyes; Jehovah doth judge between me and thee.'
Simeon and Levi are brethren! Instruments of violence -- their espousals!
If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

"Because of the violence done to the oppressed, because of the painful cries of the needy, I will spring into action," says the Lord. "I will provide the safety they so desperately desire."
My deliverer from mine enemies, Above my withstanders Thou raisest me, From a man of violence dost deliver me.
Do not give me over to the will of my foes,for false witnesses rise up against me,breathing violence.

Her priests do violence to My instruction and profane My holy things. They make no distinction between the holy and the common, and they do not explain the difference between the clean and the unclean. They disregard My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

You have not strengthened the weak, healed the sick, bandaged the injured, brought back the strays, or sought the lost. Instead, you have ruled them with violence and cruelty.
and I'll fill that mountain with the dead. Those who die by violence will cover your hills, and fill your valleys and all your ravines!
