And upon the bound of Judah from the side east even to the side of the sea, shall be the oblation which ye shall lift up, five and twenty thousand the breadth, and the length as one of the portions from the side east, even to the side of the sea: and the holy place was in the midst of it

And the side of the sea the great sea from the bound, even to over against the entrance of Hamath. This the side of the sea.

“The east side, from between Hauran, Damascus, Gilead, and the land of Israel, shall be the Jordan; from the north border to the eastern sea you shall measure. This is the east side.

And for the prince from this, and from this to the oblation of the holy place, and to the possession of the city, at the face of the oblation of the holy place, and at the face of the possession of the city from the side of the sea, the ass, and from the side of the east to the east: and the length over against one of the portions from the bound of the sea to the bound of the east,

“The south side, southward, from Tamar [near the Dead Sea] shall extend as far as the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the Brook of Egypt and to the Great [Mediterranean] Sea. This is the south side toward the south.

And these its measures: the side north, five hundred and four thousand, and the south side five hundred and four thousand, and from the side east five hundred and four thousand, and the side of the sea, five hundred and four thousand.

and next to the territory of Benjamin, from [the] side [on] [the] east up to [the] side of [the] sea, Simeon one [portion];

and next to the territory of Simeon, from [the] side of [the] east up to [the] side of [the] sea, Issachar one [portion];

and next to the territory of Issachar, from [the] side of [the] east up to [the] side of [the] sea, Zebulun one [portion];

and next to the territory of Zebulun, from [the] side of [the] east up to [the] side of [the] sea, Gad one [portion];

And upon the bound of Dan from the side east even to the side of the sea, Asher, one.

And upon the bound of Asher from the side east even to the side of the sea, Naphtali, one.

And by the bound of Naphtali from the side east even to the side of the sea, Manasseh, one.

And upon the bound of Manasseh from the side east even to the side of the sea, Ephraim, one.

And upon the bound of Reuben from the side east even to the side of the sea, Judah, one.

And the rest of the tribes, from the side east even to the side of the sea, Benjamin, one.

And this shall be the border of the land towards the north side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;

And the border from the sea shall be Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.

And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar to the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river towards the great sea.

“Now these are the names of the tribes:

From the northern end, along the road of Hethlon, to Lebo-hamath as far as Hazar-enon, at the northern border of Damascus, alongside Hamath and extending from the eastern side to the sea, will be Dan—one portion.

And the building which was at the face of the separation the side the way of the sea, the breadth, seventy cubits; and the wall of the building five cubits the breadth, round about, round about; and its length ninety cubit.

The side of the sea five hundred and four thousand; three gates; the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtah, one.

“And on that day I will give Gog a place for burial there in Israel, the valley of those who pass through east of the sea, and it will block the way of those who would pass through. So they will bury Gog there with all his hordes, and they will call it the Valley of Hamon-gog (the multitude of Gog).

Then he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side. And the breadth of the gate was fourteen cubits, and the sides of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side.

The space also before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: and the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.

And the side rooms [were] {side by side} [in] three [stories] and [a total of] thirty {rooms}, and [there were] offsets in the wall, which [was] for the temple for the side rooms, {all the way around} to be supports, and [so] they were not supports [extending] into the wall of the temple.

This holy donation will be set apart for the priests alone. It will be 8⅓ miles long on the northern side, 3⅓ miles wide on the western side, 3⅓ miles wide on the eastern side, and 8⅓ miles long on the southern side. The Lord’s sanctuary will be in the middle of it.

And there were narrow windows and palm-trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side-chambers of the house, and thick planks.

Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, upon which they slew their sacrifices.

and I the face of a man was toward the palm-tree on this side, and tithe face of a young lion was toward the palm-tree on that side, - thus was it made unto all the house, round about on every side.

And looking, I saw four wheels by the side of the winged ones, one wheel by the side of a winged one and another wheel by the side of another: and the wheels were like the colour of a beryl stone to the eye.

Its side pillars were toward the outer court; and palm tree ornaments were on its side pillars on each side, and its stairway had eight steps.

Then he brought me to the nave and measured the side pillars; six cubits wide on each side was the width of the side pillar.

Then he measured the wall of the temple, six cubits [thick, to accommodate side chambers]; and the width of every side chamber, four cubits, all around the temple on every side.

Then he said unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters of the sea shall be healed.

And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length of it forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.

And the fish of the sea and the birds of the heaven and the animals of the field and all of the creeping things that creep on the earth and all of the humans who [are] on the surface of the earth will shake {at my presence}; and the mountains will be demolished, and the steep mountain sides will fall, and every wall on the earth will fall.

And the rest [shall be] to the prince, {on both sides} {of the holy district} and of the property of the city {extending from} twenty-five thousand [cubits] [of the] contribution up to [the] boundary of [the] east, and westwards {extending} twenty-five thousand [cubits] to the boundary of [the] sea {alongside} [the] [tribal] portions. They shall be for the prince, and it shall be {the holy district}, and the sanctuary of the temple will be in its middle.

As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one towards the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.

And the little chambers of it were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its arches were after the measure of the first gate; its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth five and twenty cubits.

And there were seven steps to go up to it, and its arches were before them: and it had palm-trees, one on this side, and another on that side, upon its posts.

And its arches were towards the outward court; and palm-trees were upon its posts, on this side, and on that side: and the ascent to it had eight steps.

And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay upon it the burnt-offering and the sin-offering and the trespass-offering.

And at the side without, as one goeth up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables.

And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was towards the south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect towards the north.

The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; and he brought me by the steps by which they went up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.

The thickness of the wall, which was for the side-chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side-chambers that were within.

And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and its galleries on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;

Afterward he brought me again to the door of the house; and behold, waters issued out from under the threshhold of the house eastward: for the front of the house stood towards the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

And by the river upon its bank, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for food, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall its fruit be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to its months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for medicine.

And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even to the west side, a portion for Reuben.

And ye shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad, and twenty-five thousand long, side by side with the oblation of the holy portion. It shall be for the whole house of Israel.

And latticed windows had the lodges, even towards their projections within the gate round about on every side, and, so, had the recesses, - and windows round about on every side inwards, and against each projection, palm trees.

And there was a broadening and a winding about higher and higher to the side-chambers, for the circuit of the house! was higher and higher round about on every side of the house, for this cause was there a broadening of the house upwards, - and from the lower, one ascended to the higher, by that which was in the middle,

Then saw I that the house had a height round about on every side, - the foundations of the side- chambers, a full reed, six cubits to the joining.

And the entrance of the side-chamber, was at the vacant space, one entrance toward the north, and another entrance, toward the south, - and the breadth of the place left vacant was five cubits round about on every side.

When returned, then lo! by the hank of the river, trees very many, - on this side and on that side. S

Now look! I [will] put on you cords, and you may not turn yourself from [one] side to your [other] side until you complete the days of your siege.

And when the winged ones went, the wheels went by their side: and when their wings were lifted to take them up from the earth, the wheels were not turned from their side.

“Then lie down on your left side and place the iniquity of the house of Israel on it. You will bear their iniquity for the number of days you lie on your side.

For this cause, I will let the side of Moab be uncovered, and his towns on every side, the glory of the land, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon and as far as Kiriathaim.

And there was a wall on the outside of the house all round, and in the man's hand there was a measuring rod six cubits long by a cubit and a hand's measure: so he took the measure of the building from side to side, one rod; and from base to top, one rod.

And he went inside and took the measure of the uprights of the door-opening, two cubits: and the door-opening, six cubits; and the side-walls of the door-opening were seven cubits on one side and seven cubits on the other.

The entrance at the beginning of the passageway, the way in front of the corresponding wall as one enters on the east side, was similar to the entrances of the chambers that were on the south side.

And he took me through by the way in at the side of the doorway into the holy rooms which are the priests', looking to the north: and I saw a place at the side of them to the west.

And the other five thousand, measured from side to side, in front of the twenty-five thousand, is to be for common use, for the town, for living in and for a free space: and the town will be in the middle of it.

The innermore temple, the porch of the fore court, the side posts, these three had side windows, and pillars round about over against the posts, from the ground up to the windows. The windows themselves were sealed over with boards:

Before the same building upon this side there were chambers also which had a way unto them, like as the chambers on the north side of the same length and wideness. Their entrance, fashion and doors were all of the same manner.

He made the side pillars sixty cubits high; the gate extended round about to the side pillar of the courtyard.

And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited by sea-faring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, who cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!
