Behold therefore, I will gather together all thy lovers, unto whom thou hast made thy self common. Yea, and all them whom thou favourest, and euery one that thou hatest: and will uncover thy shame before them, that they all may see thy filthiness.

Though I washed my self with snowy water, and made mine hands never so clean,

Let thy hand be upon the man of thy righthand, and upon the son of man, whom thou madest so strong for thine own self.

As for all the gods of the Heathen, they are but Idols, but it is the LORD that made the heavens. {TYNDALE: For all the gods of the heathen are Idols; But the LORD made the heavens.}

And so though your sins be like to purple, they shall be made as white as snow; and though they be as red as scarlet, they shall be made like white wool.

Thus the covenant that ye have made with death shall be done away: and the condition that ye made with hell, shall not stand. Yea, when the sore plague goeth forth, ye shall be trodden down under it.
