And they took Jesus and led him away. And he bearing his cross, went forth to the place, called the place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha:
Where they crucified him, and two others with him, one on each side, and Jesus in the midst.
Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with him.
And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they have pierced.
And after these things, Joseph of Arimathea (being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly, for fear of the Jews) asked Pilate leave, to take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore and took the body of Jesus.
Then she runneth and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and saith to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, And the napkin that was about his head,
And they said to her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith to them, They have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
Jesus saith to her, Woman, why weepest thou? Whom seekest thou? She supposing him to be the gardiner, saith to him, Sir, if thou hast borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
She turning, saith to him, Rabboni; that is, Master. Jesus saith to her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren and say to them, I ascend to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God.
The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Unless I see the print of the nails in his hands, and put my finger into the prints of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
And Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God.
Jesus saith to him, Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: happy are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Simon Peter saith to them, I go a fishing. They say to him, We also go with thee. They went out and entered into the vessel, but caught nothing that night.
They answered him, No. And he said to them, Cast your net on the right side of the vessel, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it, for the multitude of fishes.
Jesus saith to them, Come ye and dine. And none of the disciples presumed to ask him, Who art thou? Knowing that it was the Lord.
When they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou me more than these do? He saith to him, Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee.
He saith to him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again, the second time, Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou me?
He saith to him, Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him, Feed my sheep. He saith to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved, because he said to him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said to him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith to him, Feed my sheep.
This he said, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And having said this, he saith to him, Follow me.
Peter seeing him, saith to Jesus, Lord, what shall this man do?
Jesus saith to him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is it to thee?
Follow thou me. Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him, That he should not die: but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is it to thee?
And when they were come together, they asked him, saying, Lord, dost thou at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?
And having spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up, and a cloud received him from their sight.
behold two men, in white apparel, stood by them, Who also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing into heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, as ye have seen him going into heaven.
Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man pointed out to you of God, by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God wrought by him in the midst of you, as yourselves also know:
Him being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands, have crucified and slain:
For David speaketh concerning him, I have seen the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right-hand, that I may not be moved.
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, That of the fruit of his loins one should sit on his throne,
And Peter, looking stedfastly upon him, with John, said, Look on us.
And taking him by the right-hand, he lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle-bones were strengthened,
And they knew him, that this was he who had sat for alms at the beautiful gate of the temple, and were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had befallen him.
The God of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his son Jesus, whom ye delivered up, and renounced him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to release him.
And his name, thro' faith in his name, hath strengthened this man, whom ye see and know; yea, the faith which is by him, hath given him this perfect soundness, in the presence of you all.

But he that wronged his neighbour thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us?
And forty years being expired, the angel of the Lord appeared to him, in the wilderness, in a flame of fire in a bush.
And Moses seeing it, wondered at the sight. But as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came to him, I am the God of thy fathers,
Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet; for the place where thou standest is holy ground.
This Moses, whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a prince and a judge, the same did God send, to be a ruler and a deliverer, by the hand of the Angel, who appeared to him in the bush.
This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, The Lord your God will raise you up, out of your brethren, a prophet like me: him shall ye hear.
This is he that was in the church in the wilderness, with the Angel who spake to him in mount Sinai, and with our fathers; who received the living oracles to give to us:
Whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back into Egypt,
Saying to Aaron, Make us gods to go before us; for this Moses, who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.
And hearing these things, they were cut to the heart, and gnashed their teeth upon him.
Then they cried with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and rushed upon him with one accord,
And casting him out of the city, stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man, whose name was Saul.
And devout men buried Stephen, and made great lamentation over him.
They gave heed to him, because he had a long time astonished them with witchcraft.
But Peter said to him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought to purchase the gift of God with money.
And Philip running to him, heard him read the prophet Isaiah, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
And he desired Philip to come up, and sit with him. The portion of scripture which he was reading, was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter, and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so he opened not his mouth.
Then Philip opening his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.
And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down to the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.

And he said, Behold I am here, Lord. And the Lord said to him, Arise, go into the street called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas, for one named Saul of Tarsus; for behold, he is praying.
And he hath seen in a vision a man, named Ananias, coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he may recover his sight.
But the Lord said unto him, Go: for he is a chosen vessel to me, to bear my name before nations and kings, and the children of Israel.
For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
And Ananias went and entered into the house, and putting his hands on him, said, Brother Saul, the Lord hath sent me, Jesus who appeared to thee in the way thou camest, that thou mayst recover thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
And when many days were fulfilled, the Jews consulted together to kill him.
But their lying in wait was known by Saul: and they guarded the gates day and night to kill him.
Then the disciples, taking him by night, let him down by the wall in a basket.
And coming to Jerusalem, he endeavoured to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
But Barnabas taking him, brought him to the apostles, and declared to them, How he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus, in the name of Jesus.
