And behold they brought to him a paralytic, lying on a couch; and Jesus seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, Son, Take courage: thy sins are forgiven thee.

While he spake these things to them, behold a certain ruler coming worshiped him, saying, My daughter is even now dying: but come and lay thine hand on her, and she shall live.

Then goeth he and taketh with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there, and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it be also to this wicked generation.

While he yet talked to the multitude, behold his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him.

And one said to him, Behold thy mother and thy brethren stand without, seeking to speak to thee.

And he answering said to him that told him, Who is my mother, and who are my brethren?

And great multitudes were gathered together, to him, so that he went into the vessel and sat, and all the multitude stood on the shore.

He that hath ears to hear let him hear.

And the disciples came and said to him, Why speakest thou to them in parables?

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even what he hath.

So the servants of the housholder came to him and said, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? Whence then hath it darnel?

He said to them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said to him, Wilt thou then, that we go and gather them up?

Then Jesus having sent the multitude away, went into the house: and his disciples came to him, saying, Declare to us the parable of the darnel of the field.
