And bring hither that fatted calf, and kill him, and let us eat and be merry:

At that day, he that is on the housetop, and his stuff in the house: let him not come down to take it out. And likewise let not him that is in the fields, turn back again to that he left behind.
Then began he to put forth to the people this similitude, "A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to farmers, and went himself into a strange country for a great season.
But when the farmers saw him, they thought in themselves, saying, 'This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.'
He will come and destroy those farmers, and will let out his vineyard to others." When they heard that, they said, "God forbid."
Let it stick therefore fast in your hearts, not once to study before, what ye shall answer for yourselves:
Then let them which are in Jewry fly to the mountains. And let them which are in the midst of it, depart out. And let not them that are in other countries, come therein.
And he said to them, "But now he that hath a wallet let him take it up, and likewise his scrip. And he that hath no sword, let him sell his coat and buy one.
And if also I ask you, ye will not answer me, or let me go.
For of necessity, he must have let one loose unto them at that feast.
Pilate spake again to them, willing to let Jesus loose.
He said unto them the third time, "What evil hath he done? I find no cause of death in him. I will therefore chasten him, and let him go loose."
and let loose unto them, him that for insurrection, and murder, was cast into prison, whom they desired: and delivered Jesus to do with him what they would.
And the people stood and beheld. And the rulers mocked him with them, saying, "He helped other men, let him help himself if he be Christ, the chosen of God."

Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto the disciples, "Let us also go, that we may die with him."
And he that was dead, came forth bound hand and foot, with grave bonds after the manner as they were wont to bind their dead withal. And his face was bound with a napkin. Jesus said unto them, "Loose him, and let him go."
If we let him escape thus, all men will believe on him. And the Romans shall come and take away our country and the people."
Then said Jesus, "Let her alone, against the day of my burying she kept it.
If any man minister unto me, let him follow me: and where I am, there shall also my minister be. And if any man minister unto me, him will my father honour.
And he said unto his disciples, "Let not your hearts be troubled: believe in God, and believe in me.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your hearts be grieved, neither fear ye.
But that the world may know that I love the father; Therefore as the father gave me commandment, even so do I. Rise, let us go hence."
Abide in me, and let me abide in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine: no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

The night is past and the day is come nigh. Let us therefore cast away the deeds of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
Let us walk honestly as it were in the daylight: not in eating and drinking: neither in chambering and wantonness: neither in strife and envying:
Let not him that eateth, despise him that eateth not. And let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth. For God hath received him.

For this cause I have been oft let to come unto you:
According to the grace of God given unto me, as a wise builder have I laid the foundation; and another hath built thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth upon.
Let no man deceive himself. If any man seem wise among you, let him be a fool in this world, that he may be wise.
Therefore let no man rejoice in men. For all things are yours,
Let men this wise esteem us, even as the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the secrets of God.
Therefore let us keep holiday, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of maliciousness and wickedness - but with the sweet bread of pureness and truth.
Meats are ordained for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Let not the body be applied unto fornication, but unto the Lord, and the Lord unto the body.
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his wife: and let every woman have her husband.
Let the man give unto the wife due benevolence. Likewise also the wife unto the man.
but and if they cannot abstain, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn.
If she separate herself, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled unto her husband again. And let not the husband put away his wife from him.

But and if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not in subjection to such. God hath called us in peace.
But even as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every person, so let him walk: and so ordain I in all congregations.
If any man be called being circumcised, let him add nothing thereto. If any be called uncircumcised: let him not be circumcised.
Let every man abide in the same state wherein he was called.
Brethren, let every man wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
