Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when you think not.
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing.
The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looks not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in pieces, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
I am come to send fire on the earth; and would that it were already kindled?
Suppose you that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
And he said also to the people, When you see a cloud rise out of the west, immediately you say, There comes a shower; and so it is.
And when you see the south wind blow, you say, There will be heat; and it comes to pass.
Then said he unto the vinedresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbers it the ground?
And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
When once the Master of the house is risen up, and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know not where you come from:
But he shall say, I tell you, I know not where you come from; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.
And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, you shall not see me, until the time comes when you shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.
And he that bade you and him come and say to you, Give this man your place; and you begin with shame to take the lowest place.
But when you are bidden, go and sit down in the lowest place; that when he that bade you come, he may say unto you, Friend, go up higher: then shall you have honor in the presence of them that sit at table with you.
And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
Or what king, going to make war against another king, sits not down first, and consults whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him that comes against him with twenty thousand?
And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
And he said unto him, your brother has come; and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has received him safe and sound.
And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they who would pass from here to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from there.
For I have five brothers; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that temptations to sin will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to eat?
And when he was demanded by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with outward observation:
And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when you shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and you shall not see it.
In that day, he who shall be upon the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth?
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Allow little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet you lack one thing: sell all that you have, and distribute unto the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
Who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must abide at your house.
And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham.
And he called his ten servants, and delivered to them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Saying, Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
For the days shall come upon you, that your enemies shall cast a bank about you, and surround you, and hem you in on every side,
But when the tenants saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
He shall come and destroy these tenants, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.
As for these things which you behold, the days will come, in which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And they asked him, saying, Teacher, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
And he said, Take heed that you be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draws near: go not therefore after them.
But when you shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not yet.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near.
So likewise you, when you see these things come to pass, know that the kingdom of God is near at hand.
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be weighed down with carousing, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, who were come to him, Do you come out, as against a thief, with swords and clubs?

Go you up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet fully come.
