And, when they had filled them to the brim, he added: "Now take some out, and carry it to the Master of the Feast." The servants did so.
And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calleth the bridegroom,
and said to him, 'tis usual to present the best wine first, and afterwards the worse, when the guests have drank pretty freely: but you have reserved the best wine to the last.
And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
But he spake of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this;
and when he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembred that expression of his: and they believed the scripture, and what Jesus had said.
Now whilst he was in Jerusalem at the feast of the passover, many believed in him when they saw the miracles which he did.
Nicodemus replied, how can a man be born when he is old? can he enter into his mother, and be born a second time?
if you don't believe when I tell you what is plain, how should you believe, if I tell you of things more sublime?
The one who has the bride is the groom; but the best man, who stands up with him and listens to him [take his vows], is very happy when he hears him speak. So, [now] my joy is complete [i.e. over hearing about Jesus' ministry].
When therefore the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John
when a woman of Samaria coming to draw water, Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
The woman said to Him, "I do not have a husband." Jesus said to her, "You were right when you said, 'I do not have a husband,'
"You are right when you say you have no husband, for you have had five husbands and the man you are now living with is not your husband. What you say is true."
Jesus said to her, woman, believe me, the time is coming when it shall be neither on this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem that ye shall worship the father.
but the time is coming, nay, is very nigh, when the true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth: for they are the worshippers which he requires.
then said the woman to him, I know that the Messias (that is to say the Christ) is to come, and when he is come, he will tell us all things.
Many of the Samaritans in that town believed in Him because of the woman's testimony, when she said, "He has told me everything I ever did."
so that when the Samaritans were come to him, they desired him to stay with them: and he stay'd there two days.
When the two days were over, Jesus went on to Galilee,
when he was come into Galilee, he was well received by the Galileans, who had seen all that he did at Jerusalem during the feast: for they likewise went to the feast.
When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son; for he was at the point of death.
And, when he was even now going down, his servants, met him, saying, that, his boy, was living.
then he enquired of them the hour when he began to mend: and they answered, yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
Then the father knew that that was the very hour when Jesus had said to him, "Your son is going to live." So he and his whole household believed in Jesus.
Jesus did this second miracle when he return'd from Judea to Galilee.
When Jesus saw him lying, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case , he saith unto him, Wouldest thou be made whole?
the sick man answered him, sir, I have nobody to put me into the pool when the water has been agitated: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
Afterward, Jesus found him in the temple and said to him,
I declare unto you, the time is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the son of God: and they that hear shall live.
let not this surprize you: for the time is coming, when all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and they that have done good,
How can you believe in me, when you receive honor from one another and do not desire the honor which comes from the only God?
Accordingly when he looked up, and perceived a great crowd was coming unto him,
{Then Jesus, when he looked up} and saw that a large crowd was coming to him, said to Philip, "Where can we buy bread so that these [people] can eat?"
then Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed to them that were sate down; and likewise of the fishes, as much as they would.
when they were filled, he said to his disciples, gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
The people, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, cry'd out, this is of a truth that prophet who was to come into the world.
When Jesus perceived that they would come, and take him up to make him King, he departed again: into a mountain, himself alone.
When even was come, his disciples went to the sea, and going on board a ship,
they cross'd the sea to Capernaum: now when it was dark, Jesus was not come to them:
so when they had rowed about five and twenty, or thirty furlongs, seeing Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh to the ship, they were frightned.
The day following, when the people who stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, save that one into which his disciples had entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples had gone away alone;
Howbeit, there came other ships from Tiberias, nigh unto the place where they ate bread, when the Lord had blessed.
when the multitude therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they themselves got into the boats, and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, master, when did you arrive here?
All this Jesus said in a Synagogue, when he was teaching in Capernaum.
Many therefore of his disciples, when the heard this , said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it?
When Jesus became conscious that his disciples were protesting about what he said, he said to them, Does this give you trouble?
for no one does anything in secret when he is trying to be known to the public. If you are going to do this, show yourself publicly to the world."
And [when he] had said these [things], he remained in Galilee.
But when his brethren were gone up unto the feast, then went he also up, not publicly, but as it were in secret.
But when it was now the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
The Jews were astonished. "How has this man got his learning," they asked, "when he has never studied?"
When a man receives circumcision on a Sabbath to prevent the Law of Moses from being broken, how can you be angry with me for making a man sound and well on a Sabbath?
Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when the Christ cometh, no one knoweth whence he is.
Then, when he was teaching in the Temple, Jesus said with a loud voice, You have knowledge of me and you have knowledge of where I come from; and I have not come of myself; but there is One who has sent me; he is true, but you have no knowledge of him.
But of the multitude many believed on him; and they said, When the Christ shall come, will he do more signs than those which this man hath done?
What does he mean when he said, 'You will seek me and you will not find me,' and, 'Where I am you cannot come'?"
Some of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, said, This is of a truth the prophet.
when the officers return'd to the chief priests and Pharisees, they asked them, why have ye not brought him?
then the Scribes and Pharisees brought a woman surprized in adultery; and when they had set her in the middle of the assembly,
But when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
And they, when they heard it, went out one by one, beginning from the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the midst.
When Jesus had lifted up himself again, and saw no man, but the woman; He said unto her, "Woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee?"
But if I judge, my evaluation is accurate, because I am not alone when I judge, but I and the Father who sent me do so together.
Jesus delivered this discourse in the treasury, when he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him, for his hour was not yet come.
Jesus therefore said, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he , and that I do nothing of myself, but as the Father taught me, I speak these things.
When he said this a number came to have faith in him.
How is it you do not understand me when I speak? It is because you cannot bear to listen to my words.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and standeth not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.

And when he went on his way, he saw a man blind from birth.
We must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
When I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and anointed his eyes with the clay,
and said to him, "[Now] go and wash in the pool of Siloam (which means "sent"). So, the man left and washed [in the pool], and [when he] returned, [he was] able to see.
Then the neighbours and they who had seen him before, when he was blind, said, Is not this he who used to sit begging?
He answered, “The man called Jesus made mud, spread it on my eyes, and told me,
Now it was the sabbath on the day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
We know that God does not listen to sinners [i.e., when they pray]; but God does listen to the person who reveres Him and does what He wants.
When Jesus heard that they had thrown the man out, He found him and asked,
When he hath put forth all his own, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
At length the feast of the dedication was kept at Jerusalem, when the weather happen'd to be foul.
The Jews therefore surrounded him, and said to him, Until when dost thou hold our soul in suspense? If thou art the Christ, say so to us openly.
He went back again across the Jordan to the place where John was first baptizing, and He was staying there.
when Jesus heard that, he said, the disease is not to be mortal, but is design'd for the glory of God, that the son of God might be glorified thereby.
When therefore he heard that he was sick, he abode at that time two days in the place where he was.
And, when he had said this, he added: "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going that I may wake him."
And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there [when he died], so that [now] you will believe [i.e., when you see him miraculously raised up]. But let us go to him [now]."
When Jesus was arriv'd, he found that Lazarus had been then four days in the grave.
Martha therefore, when she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary still sat in the house.
Martha said to him, I am certain that he will come to life again when all come back from the dead at the last day.
When she had said this, she went privately to call Mary her sister, saying, the master is come, and calls for you.
And she, when she heard it, arose quickly, and went unto him.
the Jews then who were with Mary in the house to comfort her, when they saw that she rose in such haste, and went out, followed her, saying, she is going to the grave to weep there.
Mary therefore, when she came where Jesus was, and saw him, fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
when Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping who came with her, he sighed from his heart, and was troubled,
