But to the wicked, God says, What is it to you, to declare My Precepts, and to take up My covenant in your mouth?

When you saw a thief, then you were pleased to be with him, and you have taken part with adulterers.

Let his days be few; let another take his office.

He delights not in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.

Jehovah takes pleasure in those who fear Him, who hope in His mercy.

For Jehovah takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the meek with salvation.

So are the ways of everyone who gains unjust gain; it takes away its owners' life.

All who go in to her do not return, nor do they take hold of the paths of life,

For Jehovah shall be your hope, and shall keep your foot from being taken.

Take fast hold of instruction; do not let go; keep her; for she is your life.

As he who takes away a garment in cold weather, as vinegar upon niter, so is he who sings songs to a heavy heart.

Take his robe that is surety for a stranger, and take a pledge from him for a strange woman.

you can take the lizard with the hands, yet it is in king's palaces.

I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it; and God does it so that they fear before Him.

Also every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity take note that God also has set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

It is good that you should take hold of this; yea, also from this do not withdraw your hand; for he who fears God shall come forth from all of them.
