A loving eye shall be blessed, for he giveth of his bread unto the poor.
Yea If thou layest away thy burdens, and holdest thy fingers, and ceasest from blasphemous talking; if thou hast compassion upon the hungry, and refreshest the troubled soul: Then shall thy light spring out in the darkness, and thy darkness shall be as the noon day.
This yet remember, how that he which soweth little, shall reap little: and he that soweth plenteously shall reap plenteously.
And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, "Since they began to bring the heave offerings into the house of the LORD, we have eaten and had enough, and yet left abundance, for the LORD hath blessed his people and thereof is this heap left."
He hath dispersed abroad, and given to the poor, his righteousness remaineth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honor.
He that is liberal in giving, shall have plenty; and he that watereth, shall be watered also himself.
Bring every tithe into my barn, that there may be meat in mine house: and prove me withal, sayeth the LORD of Hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven unto you, and pour you out a blessing with plenteousness.
Give, and it shall be given unto you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosoms. For with what measure ye mete, with the same shall men mete to you again."
