I press towards the mark for the prize to which God has called me from above by Jesus Christ.

endeavouring to preserve the spiritual union by your affectionate attachment to one another.

who by patient continuance in well doing, seek for glory, honour, and immortality;

and 'tis my endeavour to preserve a conscience free from reproach both with respect to God, and with respect to men.

As for you the minister of God, avoid those things: adhere to justice, piety, faith, charity, patience, and benignity of temper.
