'Father' in the Bible
Now, Father, glorify Me in Your presencewith that glory I had with Youbefore the world existed.
I am no longer in the world,but they are in the world,and I am coming to You.Holy Father,protect them by Your namethat You have given Me,so that they may be one as We are one.
May they all be one,as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You.May they also be one in Us,so the world may believe You sent Me.
Father,I desire those You have given Meto be with Me where I am.Then they will see My glory,which You have given Mebecause You loved Me before the world’s foundation.
Righteous Father!The world has not known You.However, I have known You,and these have known that You sent Me.
At that, Jesus said to Peter, “Sheathe your sword! Am I not to drink the cup the Father has given Me?”
First they led Him to Annas, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.
“Don’t cling to Me,” Jesus told her, “for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to My brothers and tell them that I am ascending to My Father and your Father—to My God and your God.”
Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or periods that the Father has set by His own authority.
Therefore, since He has been exalted to the right hand of God and has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit, He has poured out what you both see and hear.
You said through the Holy Spirit, by the mouth of our father David Your servant:Why did the Gentiles rageand the peoples plot futile things?
“Brothers and fathers,” he said, “listen: The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he settled in Haran,
“Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. From there, after his father died, God had him move to this land you now live in.
Joseph then invited his father Jacob and all his relatives, 75 people in all,
God has fulfilled this for us, their children, by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second Psalm:You are My Son;today I have become Your Father.
Then he went on to Derbe and Lystra, where there was a disciple named Timothy, the son of a believing Jewish woman, but his father was a Greek.
Paul wanted Timothy to go with him, so he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, since they all knew that his father was a Greek.
Publius’s father was in bed suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went to him, and praying and laying his hands on him, he healed him.
To all who are in Rome, loved by God, called as saints.Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while still uncircumcised. This was to make him the father of all who believe but are not circumcised, so that righteousness may be credited to them also.
And he became the father of the circumcised, who are not only circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith our father Abraham had while he was still uncircumcised.
This is why the promise is by faith, so that it may be according to grace, to guarantee it to all the descendants—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of Abraham’s faith. He is the father of us all
in God’s sight. As it is written: I have made you the father of many nations. He believed in God, who gives life to the dead and calls things into existence that do not exist.
He believed, hoping against hope, so that he became the father of many nations according to what had been spoken: So will your descendants be.
Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in a new way of life.
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!”
so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with a united mind and voice.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
yet for us there is one God, the Father.All things are from Him,and we exist for Him.And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ.All things are through Him,and we exist through Him.
Then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He abolishes all rule and all authority and power.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort.
I will be a Father to you,and you will be sons and daughters to Me,says the Lord Almighty.

Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise,
Peace to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

and every tongue should confessthat Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God the Father.
But you know his proven character, because he has served with me in the gospel ministry like a son with a father.
Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
To the saints in Christ at Colossae, who are faithful brothers.Grace to you and peace from God our Father.

Endure suffering as discipline: God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline?
Furthermore, we had natural fathers discipline us, and we respected them. Shouldn’t we submit even more to the Father of spirits and live?
