'Lord' in the Bible

Let us shout for joy at your victoryand lift the banner in the name of our God.May Yahweh fulfill all your requests.

Now I know that the Lord gives victory to His anointed;He will answer him from His holy heavenwith mighty victories from His right hand.

Some take pride in chariots, and others in horses,but we take pride in the name of Yahweh our God.

Lord, give victory to the king!May He answer us on the day that we call.

For the king relies on the Lord;through the faithful love of the Most Highhe is not shaken.

Be exalted, Lord, in Your strength;we will sing and praise Your might.

But You, Lord, don’t be far away.My strength, come quickly to help me.

You who fear Yahweh, praise Him!All you descendants of Jacob, honor Him!All you descendants of Israel, revere Him!

The humble will eat and be satisfied;those who seek the Lord will praise Him.May your hearts live forever!

All the ends of the earth will rememberand turn to the Lord.All the families of the nationswill bow down before You,

for kingship belongs to the Lord;He rules over the nations.

Their descendants will serve Him;the next generation will be told about the Lord.

Make Your ways known to me, Lord;teach me Your paths.

The Lord is good and upright;therefore He shows sinners the way.

The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;the Lord shatters the cedars of Lebanon.

Lord, do not let me be disgraced when I call on You.Let the wicked be disgraced;let them be silent in Sheol.

May the Lord be praised,for He has wonderfully shown His faithful love to mein a city under siege.

How joyful is the manthe Lord does not charge with sinand in whose spirit is no deceit!

Many pains come to the wicked,but the one who trusts in the Lordwill have faithful love surrounding him.

Happy is the nation whose God is Yahweh—the people He has chosen to be His own possession!

The Lord looks down from heaven;He observes everyone.

Now the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him—those who depend on His faithful love

We wait for Yahweh;He is our help and shield.

May Your faithful love rest on us, Yahweh,for we put our hope in You.
