And Yahweh said to Aaron, "Go to the desert to meet Moses." And he went and encountered him at the mountain of God and kissed him.
And Moses told Aaron all the words of Yahweh, who had sent him--and all the signs that he had commanded him.
And Moses and Aaron went, and they gathered all of the elders of the {Israelites}.
And Aaron spoke all the words that Yahweh had spoken to Moses, and he did the signs before the eyes of the people.
And afterward, Moses and Aaron went, and they said to Pharaoh, "Thus says Yahweh the God of Israel, 'Release my people so that they may hold a festival for me in the desert.'"
And the king of Egypt said, "Why, Moses and Aaron, do you take the people from their work? Go to your {forced labor}!"
And they met Moses and Aaron, [who were] waiting to meet them when they [were] going out from Pharaoh.
And Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and he commanded them [to go] to the {Israelites} and to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, to bring the {Israelites} out from the land of Egypt.
And Amram took Jochebed his aunt for himself as a wife, and she bore for him Aaron and Moses, and the years of the life of Amram [were] {one hundred and thirty-seven years}.
And Aaron took Elisheba the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, for himself as a wife, and she bore for him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
And Eleazar the son of Aaron took for himself [one] from the daughters of Putiel as a wife, and she bore for him Phinehas. These [are] the heads of the {families} of the Levites according to their clans.
[It was] that Aaron and Moses to whom Yahweh said, "Bring the {Israelites} out from the land of Egypt according to their divisions."
They [were] those who spoke to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, in order to bring the {Israelites} out from Egypt. [It was] that Moses and Aaron.
And Yahweh said to Moses, "See, I have made you [as] a god to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother will be your prophet.
You will speak all that I will command you, and Aaron your brother will speak to Pharaoh, and he will release the {Israelites} from his land.
And Moses and Aaron did [it]; as Yahweh commanded them, so they did.
(And Moses [was] {eighty years old}, and Aaron [was] {eighty-three years old} when they spoke to Pharaoh.)
And Yahweh said to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
"When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, 'Do a wonder for yourselves,' you will say to Aaron, 'Take your staff and throw it before Pharaoh, and it will become a snake.'"
And Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and they did so, as Yahweh had commanded. And Aaron threw his staff before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a snake.
Each threw down his staff, and they became snakes, and Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs.
And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, Pharaoh's heart is unchanged; he will not let the people go.
And Yahweh said to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Take your staff and stretch your hand out over the waters of Egypt and over their rivers, over their canals, and over their pools and over all of their reservoirs of water, so that they become blood,' and blood will be in all the land of Egypt and in [vessels of] wood and of stone."
And Moses and Aaron did so, as Yahweh had commanded, and he raised the staff and struck the water that was in the Nile before the eyes of Pharaoh and before the eyes of his servants, and all of the water that was in the Nile was changed to blood.

And Yahweh said to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Stretch out your hand with your staff over the rivers, over the canals, and over the pools, and bring up the frogs on the land of Egypt.'"
And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs went up and covered the land of Egypt.
And Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron and said, "Pray to Yahweh, and let him remove the frogs from me and from my people, and let me release the people so that they can sacrifice to Yahweh."
And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried out to Yahweh over the matter of the frogs that he had brought on Pharaoh.
And Yahweh said to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the land, and it will become gnats in all the land of Egypt.'"
And he did so, and Aaron stretched out his hand with his staff, and he struck the dust of the land, and it became gnats on the humans and on the animals; all of the dust of the land became gnats in all the land of Egypt.
And Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron, and he said, "Go, sacrifice to your God in the land."
And Yahweh said to Moses and to Aaron, "Take for yourselves full handfuls of soot from a smelting furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heavens before the eyes of Pharaoh.
Pharaoh sent word and called for Moses and Aaron. "I've sinned this time," he told them. "The LORD is righteous, but I and my people are wicked.
Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and told him, "This is what the LORD God of the Hebrews says: "How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, so they may serveme.
Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh and he told them, "Go, serve the LORD your God. But exactly who will go?"
No! Go now, you who are men, [without your families] and serve the Lord, if that is what you want.” So Moses and Aaron were driven from Pharaoh’s presence.
Pharaoh quickly called Moses and Aaron and said, "I've sinned against the LORD your God and against you.
Moses and Aaron did all these wonders in front of Pharaoh, but the LORD made Pharaoh's heart stubborn, and he would not let the Israelis go out from his land.
The LORD told Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,
The Israelis did this. Moses and Aaron did just what the LORD had commanded.
Then he summoned Moses and Aaron during the night and told them: "Get up, go out from among my people, both you and the Israelis! Go, serve the LORD as you have said.
The LORD told Moses and Aaron, "These are the regulations for the Passover: No foreigner is to eat it,
All the Israelis did this. They did exactly as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron.
Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand and went out with all the women behind her with tambourines and dancing.
The whole congregation of the Israelis complained against Moses and Aaron in the desert.
So Moses and Aaron addressed the entire congregation of the Israelis: "This evening you will know that the LORD has brought you out of the land of Egypt,
And Moses said to Aaron, "Say to all the community of the {Israelites}, 'Come near before Yahweh because he has heard your grumblings.'"
And at the moment of Aaron's speaking to all the community of the {Israelites}, they turned to the desert, {and just then} the glory of Yahweh appeared in the cloud.
And Moses said to Aaron, "Take one jar and put there a full omer of manna. Leave it before Yahweh for safekeeping for your generations."
As Yahweh had commanded Moses, so Aaron left it before the testimony for safekeeping.
And Joshua did as Moses had said to him to fight with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up [to] the top of the hill.
But the hands of Moses [were] heavy, and they took a stone and placed it under him, and he sat on it; Aaron and Hur supported his hands, {one on each side}, and his hands [were] steady until {sundown}.
And Jethro, the father-in-law of Moses, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God, and Aaron and all the elders of Israel came to eat bread with the father-in-law of Moses before God.
And Yahweh said to him, "Go, go down, and come up, you and Aaron with you and the priests, but the people must not break through to go up to Yahweh, lest he break out against them."
And to Moses he said, "Go up to Yahweh--you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy from the elders of Israel--and you will worship at a distance.
And Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy from the elders of Israel went up.
And to the elders he said, "Wait for us here until we return to you. And look, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever {has a dispute} will bring [it] to you."
In the tent of meeting outside the veil that is in front of the testimony,
“Have your brother Aaron, with his sons, come to you from the Israelites to serve Me as priest—Aaron, his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
Make holy garments
You are to instruct all the skilled craftsmen,
These are the garments that they must make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a specially woven tunic,
Fasten both stones on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the Israelites. Aaron will carry their names on his two shoulders before the Lord as a reminder.
“Whenever he enters the sanctuary, Aaron is to carry the names of Israel’s sons over his heart on the breastpiece for decisions, as a continual reminder before the Lord.
Place the Urim and Thummim
The robe must be worn by Aaron whenever he ministers, and its sound will be heard when he enters the sanctuary before the Lord and when he exits, so that he does not die.
It will be on Aaron’s forehead so that Aaron may bear the guilt
Make tunics, sashes, and headbands for Aaron’s sons to give them glory and beauty.
Put these on your brother Aaron and his sons; then anoint,
These must be worn by Aaron and his sons whenever they enter the tent of meeting or approach the altar to minister in the sanctuary area, so that they do not incur guilt
Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water.
Then take the garments and clothe Aaron with the tunic, the robe for the ephod, the ephod itself, and the breastpiece; fasten the ephod on him with its woven waistband.
Tie the sashes on Aaron and his sons and fasten headbands on them. The priesthood is to be theirs by a permanent statute. This is the way you will ordain Aaron and
“You are to bring the bull to the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons must lay their hands on the bull’s head.
“Take one ram, and Aaron and his sons are to lay their hands on the ram’s head.
“You are to take the second ram, and Aaron and his sons must lay their hands on the ram’s head.
Slaughter the ram, take some of its blood, and put it on Aaron’s right earlobe, on his sons’ right earlobes, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. Sprinkle the remaining blood on all sides of the altar.
Take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil,
and put all of them in the hands of Aaron and his
“Take the breast from the ram of Aaron’s ordination and wave it as a presentation offering before the Lord; it is to be your portion.
Consecrate for Aaron and his sons
This will belong to Aaron and his sons as a regular portion from the Israelites, for it is a contribution. It will be the Israelites’ contribution from their fellowship sacrifices, their contribution to the Lord.
“The holy garments that belong to Aaron are to belong to his sons after him, so that they can be anointed and ordained
Aaron's son, who is priest in his place, is to wear them for seven days when he comes into the Tent of Meeting to minister in the Holy Place.
Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that is in the basket at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
“This is what you are to do for Aaron and his sons based on all I have commanded you. Take seven days to ordain them.
I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar; I will also consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve Me as priests.
Aaron must burn fragrant incense on it; he must burn it every morning when he tends the lamps.
When Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he must burn incense. There is to be an incense offering before the Lord throughout your generations.
“Once a year Aaron is to perform the purification rite
Aaron and his sons must wash their hands and feet from the basin.
They must wash their hands and feet so that they will not die; this is to be a permanent statute

When the people saw that Moses delayed in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said to him, “Come, make us a god

And Moses will say to Korah, Hear, now, ye sons of Levi: Is this small for you that the God of Israel separated you from the assembly of Israel to bring you near to him to serve the services of the dwelling of Jehovah, and to stand before the assembly to serve them? He will bring thee near, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and did ye seek also the priesthood? For this thou and all thine assembly being collected together against Jehovah: and Aaron, what is he that ye shall murmur against him?

Now shall she not be as the dead, which in his coming forth from the womb of his mother, and his flesh shall be half consumed?
