"Please reconcile yourself with him, and be at peace; {in this way}, good will come to you.

Many are saying, "Who will show us [something] good?" Lift up over us the light of your face, O Yahweh.

"You only have I {chosen} of all the clans of the earth. Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

Then those who revered Yahweh spoke {with one another}. And Yahweh listened attentively and heard, and a scroll of remembrance was written {before him} of those who revere Yahweh and ponder his name.

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

And every day, devoting themselves [to meeting] with one purpose in the temple [courts] and breaking bread from house [to house], they were eating [their] food with joy and simplicity of heart,

Consequently, [there is] now no condemnation for those [who are] in Christ Jesus.

For just as in one body we have many members, but all the members do not have the same function, in the same way we who are many are one body in Christ, and {individually} members of one another,

contributing to the needs of the saints, pursuing hospitality.

Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.

But we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each one of us please his neighbor for his good, for the purpose of edification.

Brothers, even if a person is caught in some trespass, you [who are] spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of humility, looking out for yourself, lest you also be tempted. Carry the burdens of one another, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

On account of this, I bend my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, read more. that he may grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, [that] Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith (you having been firmly rooted and established in love), in order that you may be strong enough to grasp together with all the saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and height, and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, in order that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to the one who is able to do beyond all measure more than all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work in us, to him [be] the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

not abandoning {our meeting together}, as [is] the habit of some, but encouraging [each other], and by so much more as you see the day drawing near.

And do not neglect doing good and generosity, for God is pleased with such sacrifices.

what we have seen and heard, we announce to you also, in order that you also may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship [is] with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these [things] we write, in order that our joy may be complete.

If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

The one who says [that he] resides in him ought also to walk just as that one walked.

After these [things] I looked, and behold, a great crowd that no one was able to number, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed [in] white robes and [with] palm branches in their hands.

Every place that the soles of your feet will tread, I have given it to you, as I promised to Moses. From the wilderness {and the Lebanon}, up to the great river, the river Euphrates, all of the land of the Hittites, and up to {the great sea in the west}, will be your territory. read more. No one will stand before you all the days of your life. [Just] as I was with Moses, [so] will I be with you; I will not fail you, and I will not forsake you. Be strong and courageous, for you will give the people this land as an inheritance that I swore to their ancestors to give them. Only be strong and very courageous {to observe diligently the whole law} that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn aside from it, [to] the right or left, so that you may succeed {wherever you go}.

Can there be allied with you a throne of destruction, one that forms trouble based on statute?

And they were devoting themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayers.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?

Consider Israel according to the flesh: are not the ones who eat the sacrifices sharers in the altar?

and [when] James and Cephas and John--those thought to be pillars--acknowledged the grace given to me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right [hand] of fellowship, in order that we [should go] to the Gentiles and they to the circumcision.

And do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose [them].

Therefore, if [there is] any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion,

what we have seen and heard, we announce to you also, in order that you also may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship [is] with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
